This must be the most boring transfer window ever. Expected, though.
If they can clear some deadwood, Rice is perfectly doable: Emerson Palmieri 20m, Antonio Rüdiger 25m, [Irrelevant point] 15m. That is 60m, and probably enough money to recruit Rice, especially that he seems to be actively pushing for the move.
The problem is that no team has been able to clear out the deadwood.
If they are able to get Rice as well, I will take a break from the Caf for a few days.

Because 100M is just nothing or peanuts to a team like Man Utd.
100M is about a 1/3 of Newcastle's WHOLE CLUB (They were due to be sold for just over £350M) and I'd suspect Villa are priced at the same or less than what Newcastle are.
But yes, let's just go and spunk money on a bunch of players because smaller clubs are managing it.
