Disappointing result, a draw is fair, but we're unlucky not to get more.

Bielsa showed his tactical nous, this is the most negative and dirtiest I've seen them play, but they managed to get a point.

Man of the match Shaw. Very good at both ends and didn't put a foot wrong all game.

That was terrible to watch, the best that could be said is we should be fresh for Roma, since we didn't use much energy today.

We created a few decent chances. The Greenwood header, the Maguire shin, a couple of decent Bruno shots in the area. All were scoreable.

United were the better team and should have won.

On the plus side, the defence played well. I know everyone likes to criticise the midfield, but they both played their part in shutting Leeds out and giving the players ahead of them a platform to create.

The real culprits were the front 4 for being wasteful. Hell... even the fullbacks did more going forward than Bruno/Rashford/Greenwood/James.

Am i the only one who thinks we played well? Couldn't tell you with certainty who was playing up top for Leeds and though we were unimaginative in final third we had enough little openings to win that without ever looking like conceding.
I thought we were alright.
It was a tightly congested affair. Games like this happen. You just probably didnt expect it from a Leeds vs United game, especially in comparison with the previously match-up which was a insane match.

I'm getting a little tired of Brunos negative body language, always seems to somebody else's fault, get to grip mate you're better than this.
If I played in front of McTominay and Fred, I'd be annoyed.

Such a lack of quality on show. The amount of misplaced passes and miscontrolled balls made it an awful match to watch.

AWB was easily our best player.
That was much more a game of tight marking than of bad passing, in my view.

No, you're not the only one. We moved the ball around Leeds' press really well. There were definitely some positives from that game. Just a lack of belief in the box.

Our attack and the attacking/creative element of the midfield let us down. Just wrong decision making, or being too ponderous in key areas, or just not making the right connection with the ball when a half-chance came. We had a lot of the ball, but we weren't really that threatening, imo. Neither keeper really had to do an awful lot, bar the one great save from their keeper in the first half.

It was a disappointing game, but I still think we're good for second.

In humble consideration of our results v Leeds this season . . I’m saying nothing other than that you were never going to win the PL and you’ve already cemented top 4 so the result didn’t really matter to you.
Hence, I can understand Ole playing who he played and why he directed such a tediously slow tempo. He wants your best players fit and full of energy for Thursday evening in the hope that a prize might be won, of course.
Nowt wrong with his thinking.
"Tediously slow tempo"? There was no lack of tempo in this game.

I’m already over it. Shit game. But not the worst point ever, still looking good for 2nd and still unbeaten away from home

3 huge games are up next, and that is where the focus for the squad needs to be .

Wonder what game you guys have been watching, this was a really good game of football.
Crazy to think it was the 33rd game of the season, plus cups and Europe, and both teams were running full speed for 95 minutes.

Didn't create many chances, but the game was good to watch.
Agreed. I watch us these days and do not feel like we're in much danger. United play with confidence and were the better side by a fair amount. Leeds broke their attacking style to avoid getting hammered again

Maybe its the sky commentary. I watched on with a different broadcast and they were waxing lyrically about the quality of the game. I saw a game where Leeds were using their high energy to limit our effectiveness in the final third. I though on the ball, we were poor in midfield as usual, and attacks usually came as a result of our attackers dropping really deep as Fred and Mctominay could not make any progressive passes. I didn't see a poor boring game, I saw a high intensity game in which a better double pivot would have seen us dominate.

Glad I chose to watch the game on my laptop at the park so I could at least enjoy the sun. Seriously though, we were still the better team and probably could have taken a chance. Disappointed in Ole again with those subs. Cavani and Pogba both made an impact off the bench but should have been on at 60 mins as James is just nowhere near good enough.

The tempo was pretty high in the game. It was just both team running back and forth being stopped by the oppositions defence.

April weather here in Sweden... 4+ and snow. The weather was about the same as that thing I saw on the TV, a joke...

We haven't played for ages and our next game is on thursday so I don't get why we needed to rest. Start Pogba and Cavani and sub them once the game is won. At least don't wait until minute 85 to get them on...

And as mentioned before, why not let VDB start instead of James?
I don't think it was a question of rest. If you expect the same kind of game we had last time, starting James and Greenwood over Cavani and Pogba makes some sense.

What, VDB on the right wing?

I was watching through NBC Sports and the commentary team were impressed with both teams to some degree.

World's most boring stat relevant to today's match...

"There have been eight goals in Premier League meetings between Leeds and Man Utd this season, despite today's 0-0; in the competition's history, only Blackburn v Sheff Weds in 1997-98 saw more goals scored when one of the two meetings finished goalless (9)." (opta, via bbc feed)

Fred and McTominay are extremely poor players. I know we like to criticize our forwards but the midfield was pathetic.

Seems fitting that our hopes of a title bid end in Leeds. We won some games on worst form than this. Feck them on to Roma.

12pts clear of 4th, 15 to play for. I’m satisfied. Like the clean sheet.
