We are going to end up in midtable this season if Marko Arnautovic is our solution.

Such a sorry state this club is in. Badly need these parasites to sell up and get people running us who actually have a clue.

Where are the guys who said they didn't want Sesko? I'll gladly take Sesko for any amount if our alternative is this guy. Fecking hell. How far back are we going to go now? They worked together at Twente so we are now interested in this guy? :houllier:

Honestly with that appalling football we played today Arnautovic would be the perfect fit. He does wonders for teams who play that badly.

martial is hurt. ronaldo is out the door. rashford looks like he'll never get his form back. we played bruno as a false 9. sesko has better offers. we should take anything we can get at this point.

We really need some scouts. We can't only sign players that the manager knows first hand. It's far too limited a scope.

The state of our club. We really are accepting our mid table status. Not even Arse gave up in that fashion

There’s no way that ETH is sitting there thinking that Arnautovic is what he needs up top.

If we're going after a 33 y.o player I would rather Dusan Tadic honestly.

why not. there isn't a single forward on this team that can hold up play, and that might be the only way to get these wide players involved right now.

Nope fully expecting it to be a 3 year deal. We don't know options exist. I thought the same for Eriksen too but we gave him full 3 year deal.
Eriksen is three years younger. Ronaldo was signed with an option as is nearly every new signing we make

Probably about right given where our standards have fallen to. If this guy comes in, seriously I think I'll finally give up.

We were facing competition from other clubs for Eriksen plus he's younger and isn't viewed as a stopgap by the club. All the reports suggest United only see Arnautovic as an emergency squad option. I would surprised if it's a full 3 year deal but maybe I'm wrong.

Seriously what are we doing  we've got an opportunity to think about buying a young striker and future planning and now we get talk about this bloke?

I just don't want to believe it.
What if we sign Sesko and loan him back for a season? I don't think he's ready yet, he got like 5 goals last season.

And the club briefed that they were shocked that it is United, not barcelona, was seen as the dysfunctional club.

Arsenal sign Jesus
Spurs sign Richarlison
City with Haaland
Pool with Nunez
Chelsea with Sterling

You just couldn’t make it up with Arnautovich

That would make at least a modicum of sense, I don't love the idea of signing Arnautovic at all but if it's a 1 year stop gap until Sesko then that would make some sense. 3 years, even with an option on the third year, would make none at all.
