We drop out and Chelsea have a free run to negotiate a low price. We stay in they will end up paying more

Can't wait to play him next to Rabiot with Eriksen just in front. Bruno can sit on the bench.

Time for him to just go somewhere and end this thread, longest most repetitive transfer saga in recent memory.

Looks like it's no way back for FDJ at Barca. Let's hope he chooses us over Chelsea though, seems that most reliable journos think he's going to Chelsea.

De Jong is our top target this whole summer. We won't back out now because we aren't willing to pay 17m extra. That doesn't make sense. I'm 100% positive we'll match every transfer fee Chelsea is offering, including the damn 17m in deferred wages.
The question becomes, is Man Utd De Jong's top destination? Takes two to tango and all that

Barca fans should probably look at how not to be "invaved" and humiliated by Frankfurt's fans again, rather than abusing De Jong for not accepting a salary cut.

We don't really know... de Jong hasn't said anything to anyone. It's always sources indicate this, or indicate that.
The truth is no one knows whats happening except those close to the deal

The most reliable journo’s said Chelsea haven’t even made a bid yet.
Exactly. The most reliable journos have said it's still just interest. Other sources have said they're at the negotiation stage, other sources say advance negotiations, others say bid are in and about to be accepted.
The reliable ones have just maintained that it's still interest

If it costs us 100m, then lets do it.

This guy is brilliant, exactly what we need...the extra money paid will worth it when we're back in the CL

Frenkie is not a DM , he is a progressor of the ball and goes forward. He is not positionally disciplined nor a screener, bur Rice is those things.
Not the point I made. He likes to be the deepest player positionally in the midfield and so does Rice. Of course they can play together but one of them has to sacrifice some of their effectiveness to accommodate the other.
