Great win. Would be nice now with a game where we control the game, play on our terms, pass the ball better and create more chances from non-counters. But clear signs of progress.

Absolutely glorious performance. Love the fact that we didn't lose our heads after conceding, calmly stuck to the plan and countered them to death. The defense remains solid, even their goal was a result of a good tackle. The midfield still has possession issues, but the qualities all three bring to the team are undeniable. And as long as Rashford doesn't have to play with his back to goal, our forward line looks good. After a disastrous start, we are looking very good. Fantastic job by the coaching team and the players.

Same old Arsenal is all I seen. Playing some fancy flicks and tricks doesn't win you big games. Strong mentality does.
well, yeah.. it's Arsenal

but they've improved a lot over the past few seasons at least.. much more cohesive, strong, good passing

Great win, so many players deserve praise. Our entire back line, Eriksen for his all around game, Bruno for his fantastic passes to Rashford and Eriksen in the build up to the second and third goal respectively, and obviously Rashford!

Two small concerns are that Casemiro needs some time to fit in, and the drop in quality from Martinez to Maguire was terrifying.

Kicking the Arse never felt so good. Huge win. Happy fan right now. One game at a time and let's see where this goes.

I was super worried and was screaming in front of the TV the whole game, but the players got the job done and we looked comfortable after Arteta’s substitutions.

Ten Hag has truly done a fantastic job so far, he is making me care too much again

The sequence for the first goal was so sublime. The passage of play all the way from De Gea to Antony finishing was magnificent.

Hey, I regularly criticise Rashford but he was great today. He, Eriksen and Mctominay were all fantastic.

Great result. Arsenal were the better team for most of it but thankfully we still have a quality counter attack in our locker.

Eriksen is straight class. I knew he would be a good signing, I didn't imagine he'd become a top 3 CM in the league quality.

A long way to go still, but great to see where they're heading. Eriksen's value is just massive.

We weren't even that good, looking forward to seeing them fall apart completely in October/November. First AFTV of the season tonight

Good to see all the Rashford haters paying their dues, whilst Ericsson was MOM Rashford showed us his best today we’ll done Marcus that’s 3 Goals and 3 PL assists or 1 in 1 goal imvolvements this season, not quite back to his best but he’s getting there !

Delighted with that result. Arsenal looked very impressive but we hit them with the second at the right time.
Fred made a massive difference when he came on. Great to see Antony get a debut goal as well as a brace for Rashford.
Time to keep building now.

Love beating the Arsenal

A little concerning how they were the better side for long periods but I'll put that down to us still not being able to field what will be our best XI
Arteta has had a lot longer to instill his philosophy. Remember last season when Arsenal had there worst ever start and were glued to the bottom of the table after the first few games?. That should be a lesson to all of us really.

Momentum breeds confidence and with the players we have I think we could very realistically get top three this season BUT it’s about keeping the players motivated and playing for places.

Having Rashford, Martial, Sancho, Antony and Ronaldo playing for three places will hopefully motivate each player to perform and Fernandes looks far better knowing Eriksen can also create/dictate. It’s weird that since we’ve signed Casemiro we’ve also seen McTominay look much better so hopefully not only does Casemiro do a solid job for us but also mentor McTominay.

We look much better and balanced with Varane and Martinez but hopefully Maguire will be given a massive kick up the arse knowing he’s now third or even fourth choice, I’m hoping the same for Shaw too as Malacia didn’t look great today and Dalot will never be good enough at right back for me.

I thought McTominay and Eriksen were excellent in this game, MoTM between those two. Arsenal scared me they work the ball really well and had some good chances. We were deadly on the break in that 2nd half and that was the difference. Now time to rotate some of these guys, wish the Real Sociedad game wasn't first up.

Arsenal played very well but we showed fantastic tenacity and mental strength to hang in there and win it.

In recent seasons we would have crumbled and probably lost that game by a hefty margin.

ETH takes all the credit.
Agree. As soon as the equaliser went in we would have gone to pieces. There is fight in this team.
