The fact that your only issue with this interview is the timing speaks alot about where your allegiance lie.
There are moments in the interview where direct quotes are wrong, what he said about Rooney wasn't a jibe at Rooney at all. He said that he looks better meaning physically at 38 because he's still able to play. I don't think he means visually he means "maybe I look better" meaning that he still plays at the top level.
We do have to remember Ronaldos English is good but he sucks at saying some things because he doesn't get his meaning across.
I do think that the "they didn't believe me" is hearsay though. In a court of law he wouldn't get far with it because United DID give him time, he didn't attend preseason.
