Eh. Three points was never going to be enough against Mahomes in OT.

Mahomes does feel like a cheat code. Has the legs go convert and the arm to drive.

Swift winning Superbowl in first appearance

Such a gripping game, there really is nothing like it. The entire second half and OT it had you on the edge of your seat.

And yeah, Mahomes... I hope the other big guns in the AFC truly step up and go after him now, it'll always affect their own legacy as well if they cannot get over the hump against these Chiefs. Burrow when fully fit might have it in him, questionable whether Lamar and Allen do at this point.

I do sometimes wish the rest of the world would take football serious and we d have a global competition so the world championship titles we use in this country actually mean something.

You know what feels missing after such a grueling battle? To see both teams exchanging handshakes or something of the likes in mutual respect. I saw many among the Niners players just leave like that.
Even if they wanted to, they don't really get a chance. The instant the match ends hundreds of TV crews and stage personnel storm the field.

The 49ers sadly didn’t capitalise whilst they were dominating. In a close game, Mahomes will always be the difference. An ability to make the right decisions at the right time - elevating himself when it matters most. Just like the man he’s trying to catch in terms of legacy.

Same feeling as losing those two CL finals to Messi and Barcelona. Except the niners were closer to winning both games. Little things go different and history would have both teams as some of the greatest to do it. Have to finish the job though. I think we win against any other qb but mahomes like Messi is the goat for a reason. Sucks ass but proud of the team.

Once again luck wins you titles. That miss field goal cost 49ers the title.

Tbf niners could have easily lost to Packers and lions. Missed opportunities for both teams against niners just like niners in the first half

Get literally anyone else to coach you in a SB. List any deity you can think of, they hate Kyle Shanahan.

Next time you get to one just tell him they've moved the game to the following week or something.

KC – one of the worst receiving groups in the league, but legendary QB
49ers – "last pick of the draft" QB and one of the best all-round teams both sides of the ball.
you just never know what's going to pay off.

I thought he coached really well today. Gutsy call on fourth down that paid off. The big play was the fumble on punt recovery that gifted kc 7 points.

49ers only have themselves to blame. Bottled it when it mattered most. Chiefs were nowhere near their scintillating best but the 49ers offence failed to capitalise on their mistakes when they were presented with them.

The guy is cursed. No other coach has a punt hit a blocker on his heel and/or that Greenlaw injury happen to them in a SuperBowl. Not one.

If the rapture happened, he'd get dragged into an airliner's engine on the way up.

Looking forward to the beautiful tradition of letting the owner lift the trophy first.
