That decision to shoot near the end there is unbelievable for a captain. And 30 seconds later Luton get a corner and hit the bar.

Nothing embodies this team more than him.

He's been off it for a few weeks now. Not sure there is much of an alternative. Eriksen has lost his legs. I'd be interested to see Mount in his role, when he is fit.

Thought he was dreadful today. To be honest this season I'd say he's been dreadful in at least 70 percent of the matches. The fact that he never gets dropped is a big worry.

Usually defend him as I think he's harshly treated but he had a shocker today. Couldn't keep the ball and piss poor decision making.

I’ve been defending him a lot this season

Especially in the last few weeks when he has looked a lot more sensible in possession.

But he was god awful today.

All of his worst traits on display. None of his best

We need to replace him with someone much more mobile with quick feet to get away from defenders.

Being terrible is one thing, but being so clueless/stupid/brainless as to take that shot in the end when you're the captain is indefensible.

Thick as feck these days. Any good he does (which is still a lot) is cancelled out by his idiotic, childish decision making.

He was awful, so erratic and brainless and looked quite pedestrian as well. If it’s true there is interest for Saudi Arabia it’s pretty tempting to move him on. Him and Casemiro are big issue in terms of trying to control games.

He’s played far too much the past few years. He needs a rest, but also some competition. I hope we get a chance to try Mount there when/if he comes back.

That said, I thought this was one of his worst ever games for us on the basis of just his play - leaving out any sort of discipline or theatrics.

 Quite the turnaround!
Plays well or contribute well - praise him.

Plays like shit and absolutely destroy whatever is being built - just get rid.

I think his time is done here, he had his good times and now time to move him on.

I don't get it. Does not somebody in the club say something about this? He does this EVERY freaking game. I mean, come on, what the hell...

He’s absolutely braindead. That decision at the end from our own corner summed him up. If we’d conceded after that it would have all been on him.

Well, that was horrible. The worst I've seen from him in some time.

It almost makes you wonder if his first two seasons here was a long purple match. The man is so unpredictable, and nothing epitomises the club, the team and the manager like he does. Roy Keane was known as SAF on the pitch in terms of his personality, guessing Bruno is the ETH.

I guarantee Opta will be out with their standard tweet of "Created 640 chances, xG and xA of 24.6. Maestro."

Braindead footballer.

We need to sell him. Good player or not but he’s not him. Hopeless trying to play a patient, measured approach.

He is such a frustrating player. I fear his time here should end soon. He improved in the second half, but we can't just dominate the midfield with him (or we have to clone peak Scholes and Kante to play behind him).

Well below his usual standards today, a couple of nice incisive passes but generally pretty poor decision making and that shot at the end when we could have held on to the ball was lunacy.

He was really, really bad today. That shot at the end is just mind blowing stuff.

Bad game from him. Usually he pops up with something worthwhile even in games like this but did nothing today. He is playing like the way he did in the end of seasons where he was run into the ground-physically and mentally tired. If Mount is available, he should be given a chance to take Bruno's spot.

In serious danger of losing that flat track bully status when he cant even put in a 5/10 performance against relegation sides.

And with someone who's mentally and technically composed.
Bruno lacks composure for sure but I’m not really sure his natural talent is all that great either - especially for the front foot team we want to be. He creates chances and is a tireless runner but he’s not a true playmaker, he’s not a good dribbler, he doesn’t have low centre of gravity as an advantage and he has very little pace / isn’t a ball carrier. He’s not even very strong to make up for the latter. For the team he came to, he was very important but footballers like him and Rashford - they should not be our future unless we want to remain what we’ve been for this past decade.

Plays like a headless chicken running around a bunch of hippies.
We need someone calmer in that position and as captain. Thanks for helping us through some very tough times Bruno, but we need better from you
