Those are rookie numbers. You've got to pump those numbers up!

ITV keep everything on their app for 30 days, so I'm sure be rewatching the whole of extra time again soon. Certainly more preferable than watching any international football this weekend!
I recorded it while I was watching and have seen it 3 times since, playing bits over and over again, and it keeps getting better and better!

Rashford sprinting forward at full speed after 120 minutes. Damn, I’d be happy if he had that hunger and displayed similar attitude in half of the games.

Those replays really show the value of keeping at least one player up the pitch when you’re defending a corner or free kick. If Garnacho hadn’t been in that position to pick up the loose ball our counter would have fizzled out, Liverpool would have pumped the ball back into our box and maybe they would have got the last minute winner.

McAteer, Souness, Carragher, Klopp feckin brilliant. Horrible bitter bastards.
Won't lie him getting sent off made the moment even more epic.

Also what was the ref doing adding on so much time in a 15 minute half when the goal was already scored at the very end of normal time......

Really was trying to give Liverpool every chance to equalise.

United back ruining childhoods. This is what it means. Still on cloud 9 from the finish to that game, those tears are like sugar in my tea.

Watch it again, it doesn't matter whether he kicked the ball or Bruno first, it's the massive hand in the back from a player running full pelt that is the (blatant) foul. The ref and VAR were utter dogshit.
Yeah, great game and result but thought the ref was in danger of spoiling it. Nothing too glaring, but lots of niggly stuff, like not giving a foul for Garnacho getting a push in the back and slipping (fair enough) but a minute or less later Liverpool given a foul for the same thing. The made up extra two or three minutes at the end of extra time was infuriating too.

He should thank his lucky stars. When Fergie was here, they were used to this by the time they were 13.

Was at OT on Sunday watched the whole thing live fantastic game, especially the result.
All through the game I had the feeling that the ref was very 'lite' on Liverpool and came down hard on us; but put it down to ref's preferences, some become 'homers', some lean towards the opposition especially when there is 70,000+ crowd baying for a free kick, or penalty or even a disputed throw in.
However, watching the whole thing again yesterday on video, seeing the TV replays etc.I am now convinced the ref was indeed bias towards Liverpool on numerous occasions, but only ONCE did he give the benefit of any doubt to United.

The football powers that be need to review this guy's performance.

who do you feckin think ?
i cant believe i am still buzzing after that, what a game. I was getting texts and memes from Liverpool fans in that 2nd half so it was really nice to get back at them at the end. Also i don't buy this narrative that Liverpool dominated the game and Utd hung on and somehow chaotically grabbed a win. Utd had the clear chances in the game and did not put them away, i can think of 2 big ones McTom missed and 2 Rashy should have buried, i cant think of any clear Liverpool chances. Liverpool were better 2nd half and got 2 jammy deflected goals but for the rest of it Utd were better.

Like the gloating from the older brother , it is what older brothers should be doing at times like this.

Two gladiators entered the Colosseum but only one walked out with their heads high and chins out with a hop in their step.

This angle of the winner is quite cool. Look at McTominay, he can barely run.
Just watched this as it popped up on my feed

I can’t get enough of this game. I’ll watch any and content related to it. It’s like a drug I refuse to let go off. Feels like some sort of payoff for all the crappy performances all season.

Agreed, it's really annoying to listen to as a Utd supporter and quite disrespectful to the players who put in a good effort to win that game.

Some much talk about Liverpool dominating the game, being odds on favourites and them 'losing it' as opposed to United winning it. That's bollocks to be honest, they had more possession at times which was to be expected given they are top of the league and we're 6th and don't have a lot of possession against anybody anyway. But to have near 30 shots in a game, by far the better chances, score four goals and on top of that have two of Liverpools goals being lucky deflections, I don't know how anyone can truthfully say Liverpool 'lost it' rather than United winning.

We've had one of our worst seasons and still, people (pundits included) feel the need to make up blatant lies about our games, it's unreal.

That is very much how I saw it as well. And the longer the match went on the more obvious it became. So much so that it was getting really annoying. Until he eventually blew the final whistle (almost 4 minutes late) and then I forgot all about the dick head referee because of the sheer joy of the win.
One of those days you live for as a football supporter.

Edit. Who was your MoM ?

Onana, he was there when it counted, not all spectacular saves, but very important ones, at the right time, nevertheless.

I had the same exact same experience. Where I sit at OT there's the usual suspects around me who are quick to blame the ref for everything, but on Sunday, everyone (myself included) was getting agitated by some of his decisions to ignore clear fouls on United players, award soft free kicks to Liverpool and give Liverpool 2 or 3 thrown-ins when the final touch came off their player.

I went home and rewatched the game and can confirm that we weren't all getting caught up in the heat of the moment of the derby.

I've seen a few people on this thread trying to justify his decision to play into the 124th minute but I'm not buying it: https://www.redcafe.net/threads/john-brooks.481891/page-2

Onana performed very well indeed and is starting to justify his signing.
I was most impressed with Mainoo. And it was a whole team display so difficult to choose but felt that he was very strong in midfield.

Yes, hes improving every game, but I nearly soiled myself when he got caught in no mans land and we had to be saved by the bar/post!
