Don't buy ageing players who have won everything and have little to prove.

He is a liability on the pitch

I think he should only be maybe come on if we need to hold a game as he should then be fresh

He’s so funny to watch on the pitch. That tackle at the end, ffs. Wish he played for a rival so I could really laugh

He had a mare there. Play Mount instead, can't be any worse than him or Mctominay.

Gonna be one hell of an expensive bench player until 2027 if United can't shift him this summer.

After an hour he is running on empty.

He clearly has to be carrying or protecting an injury, only thing I can imaging to explain that performance. Why Erik is playing him from the start, never mind 90 minutes is beyond me. Bruno who he moves to the left wing is forced to do defensive midfield duties and does it better than Casemiro can in the last 15 minutes so why don't we just sub him off. He was a complete passenger. The amount of Liverpool breaks that led to shots where he wasn't even in the camera frame, never mind the box was just shocking.

He's as bad as Rashford. He does try but completely lost his legs and gives the ball away a lot

That was one of the worst performances I've ever seen. Gary Neville retired after putting up a performance like that.

Must have been carrying an injury since last February then. Absolutely tragic signing that most predicted at the time would age like milk.

Dont know what is more pathetic. His performances and the his gone legs, or that ETH doesn't take him out.
Just shocking, hard to find the words.
Erik is an idiot for playing him
Always find comments like this odd considering the alternatives are Amrabat and Mctominay who the whole forum also think are shite, so the manager can't really win when it comes to team selection.

But we should do everything we can to sell them all in the summer.

He won't be here next season, let's just see it out. At least we had half a season out of him.

There's no way he can be here next season.

Did well last season, and fair play to him, but he's just not that good anymore.

On the ball, he's a liability. Occasionally, he will pick out some really good passes, but his passing on the whole is erratic.

Off the ball, again, he'll occasionally put in some solid tackles, but half of the time he gets dribbled past far too easily l and dives in way too often. He also hasn't got the legs to track back when pressing high up the pitch.

Loved that tackle. Was waiting for some aggression today. We were soft as feck. Show them some old United - Pool matches.

I don't care that it started the move that led to Mainoo's goal but that bicycle kick in midfield. You wouldn't see it in u-10s. He doesn't give a shit.

Was he drunk? Couldn't stay on his feet and couldn't keep the ball to save his life.

Well, he can start him. But the last half an hour it was painful watching him. He couldnt even jog. Maybe he is injured?

I am not rating the others higher, but if you see that one of your players can't even run then you take him out.

If he’s playing injured and that’s what we’re getting I’d rather not have him play.

The amount of times he just aimlessly gave the ball away, laughed, then just jogged slowly back while the rest of the team were sprinting back to cover was criminal.

Everytime the camera zooms in on him he’s smiling or laughing. He’s taking the absolute piss. One of the most dislikable mercenary players we’ve ever had. Using United as a retirement home.

Can’t believe how poor he looks, would rather any of our other CMs play there, give me McT, Eriksen, Amrabat etc any day at the moment.

Serious investment needed in the summer.

Didn't look good again, but I think you'd need the mobility and stamina of prime Kante to not look like a complete turnstile in the mental one man midfield system we're playing this year.

He'll make two decent sliding tackles and he'll live off those moments for the rest of the game.

Casemiro's use of the ball really leaves me scratching my head sometimes. It's incredible to see such an experienced player treating the ball like a live grenade.
