He has 6.4 on SofaScore, in a game where Dortmund are winning 4:2.

I'm assuming he was awful?
I'd say he was decent. Lost some balls, but was also involved in some great chances, like giving the pre-assist to the 2-0. Still nothing special, but far from being awful.

He had a few decent bits of link up play, like the nice pass to Sabitzer for the Brandt goal but he's not been all that good. He's tried getting past his man but failed to beat the full back more often than not. I don't think he was as bad as others have made out but he failed to make a significant mark on the game.
Let's also not forget his wages. Even if he didn't play bad ( I thought he was average) did he play like a 320 thousand pound per week kind of player? A superstar? I do not think so.

Oh, theyre through. Let's hope Dortmund win the CL with some great Sancho stuff that might, just might convince Dortmund to take the plunge. I do wish him all the best.

Urgh don’t even want to think about this… how did this happen?
Not that he needs another stick to be beaten with right now but I don’t sense that our Erik is great at building a squad

Hopefully if he stays all these recruitment decisions are no longer with him

Awful is probably an overstatement, he wasn't good though. Lost the ball trying to take on his full back too much. Wasn't guilty of missing big chances or fecking up good attacking situations but generally didn't have a huge impact on attacks for Dortmund. Sabitzer and Brandt were more at the heart of the good attacking play.

Absolutely not, certainly not the type of performance that will have BVB thinking seriously about buying him.

His performance would have been positive if he was a 10 million young talent, making his first steps in big football.

however he costs a fortune and earns millions each month. Getting paid like a super footballer.
He is not.

Hope he gets a good run in UCL and we get some money for him, that’s my prayer.
None of our players deserve to be on what we pay them, even Casemiro and Varane, all of them stealing a living

Will be like a new signing when Ten Hag gets sacked at the end of the season. Been a good loan for him.

Didn't watch most of the game, but the commentators were very complimentary when he was subbed off.
he looked pretty much the exact same as he did almost every time he played for us. People get carried away with the story of a 'comeback', which this certainly isnt. Absolutely nothing Ive seen tells me we should do anything but sell him asap

This is the main point people fail to make. People see him at Dortmund, 1 goal in 10 games, some decent performances and suddenly he's being judged as a young upcoming talent not an 80 mill pound superstar on 300k a week.

The same performances he gets ratings for Dortmund he'd get massacred here, the expectations aren't the same. Judge him how you would if he played here.

Wow some very disappointed posters in here

Congrats Sancho gone further in the Champions League than we have in over ten years

Wouldn`t hurt if this guy got his shit together. There is for sure a player in there somewhere.
Could get us a good fee if he served up some magic in the CL

He is far from the player he used to be for Dortmund, but of course he also used to play alongside Bellingham and Haaland, which should make many attacking players look better individually as well.

He had a good game against bayern last week, giving Davies a tough time and looking full of confidence. He can do it at the top level, we already know that. But I think this environment under ETH and recent managers has been detrimental to our players. You can tell they don't enjoy playing football. Compare that to how it is at Dortmund and it's obviously a better environment to perform in.

Ah the Pogba syndrome - "he played well in a top game this one time so he must be able to cut it consistently"

How do we know this exactly?

Because we've seen it at Dortmund. He's even done it for us on occasion. But at Dortmund I've seen him play well against the likes of Bayern, Barcelona in the CL. He 100% has the ability, the guy we saw mostly at United is a shadow of the player he can be. There's something inherently wrong at United.
