I have no idea why Christian Bale's Batman got a mention however just on that trilogy - the fact that Katie Holmes' performance in the first film was so bad that Nolan decided to cast a different actress to play Rachel in the sequel speaks volumes.
She declined to return. And she really wasn’t that bad.

Her performance earned her a raspberry award so I guess I'm not the only one who thought that.
You weren’t. But she didn’t win the Razzie, only nominated.

Not saying it was a great performance, just that I at no point felt she stuck out or was ruining the film in any way.

Shush. Oscar winner. Put some respect on his name.

Bad Lieutenant. Adaptation. Leaving Las Vegas. Joe. Pig. Red Rock West.

I could go on but I'll cut you some slack.
NAh, I’ll cut you some. His early stuff is good, his later stuff is bad. Turned into a shouty actor.

His early stuff was consistently good. Post 2000, he took loads of roles for financial reasons and became a meme - I find his performances enjoyable in some of his shouty roles (very few do it as good as him - Bad Lieutenant is an insanely good performance), but he from time to time remembers he's an actor with range and finesse and will deliver something like Pig (which was one of the best films of the year it was released).
The Antony of acting
This is shockingly on point

Not seen Bad Lieutenant but I’ll make sure to watch it now both you and @Dirty Schwein have mentioned it.

It's a generalisation. He does do shouty performances but there's more to him than that. Joe for example... Doesn't raise his voice even once in that one.
