Naim Sliti has stood out for me for Tunisia against England and in friendlies against Portugal and Spain. I saw him once vs Lyon prior to these matches and he scored two goals in that game. He honestly reminds me so much of Alexis - his low centre of gravity, his 360 turns in an instant, constantly looking for forward passes and shooting angles. A very positive player.
Takashi Inui had an excellent game against Colombia. Alongside Nagatomo and Osako he was probably the best player on the pitch. I was already a fan of his but I don't think many here would know of him.
I was very impressed by that young winger for Peru yesterday. Think his name was Carillo?
I was impressed by him, too, but he's been a bit poor for Watford it seems. I don't think he's that young either.
England’s Trippier. Had to google him last night. Who knew he was a Spurs player?
I've been a fan of his for a few years - going back to his time at Burnley. Not that he's anywhere near as good as him, but his technique has always reminded me of Beckham.
Golovin has impressed me a lot and he’s only 22
Was my bet on breakthrough star of the tournament. So far so good!
