I think it is more because Rashford and Lingard get more attention. Usually nobody hears about Rojo because he isnt playing and doesnt do anything special on social media. The only time people talk about Rojo are those few moments he plays and makes one (or multiple) of his trademark red card fouls or the moment he picks up yet another injury.

Sanchez is basically the same story. He released a movie or something but besides that he is injured and doesnt do anything on or outside the pitch.

Rashford and Lingard are talked more about because they show up a lot more. Releasing a brand, wearing funny clothes and necklaces, cryptic instragram posts and in case of Lingard trying to promote his brand. All of those things happened in a relative short period too.

Ahh poor you who is angry.

We have had 3 managers now that have refused to get a right winger in.

Until that happens I'm not desperate to see Lingard leave.

Okay? Drink some water if you can. No difference to silvestre, Buttner, fortune etc & the only difference is that they played around better players and a system than we have now.

Again, not bothering to sell is different to forcing him to stay - at a time when our squad is so misguided and empty, selling him seems stupid.

Lingard can pull of his 6/10 performances as a CAM, a RW, A CF, a LW and one day possibly as a CM. Until we get better players that put Lingard on the bottom tier of the squad I wouldn't go out of my way to sell him unless he is unhappy and needs to go right now.

Try stay a bit cool like Lingard mate don't get too angry ;)

We constantly hear that signing 'X' player is blocking the path for youth players (I realise Lingard is still 12 so probably falls into that catagory himself), or stopping us from signing a better player for that position.

Lingard is taking up a position in our squad and, this season, has produced 4 goals, 4! I'd like to replace him with someone who offers more, if thats a wildcard shot for a youth player, or buying someone I dont really care.

As for Lingard himself, I have a major problem with him promoting himself as an icon and building his 'brand' while delivering so little, it grates, and I'd happily see him gone because right now he's being talked about far too much because of his celebrity and brand rather than what he actually does on the field.

What about Rojo's rivalry with Aguero from the world cup that continued after he signed for united? Over an ex girlfriend (Aguero's). What about Rojo's sex scandal that was dragged out in court when he falsely accused a woman he had an affair with (while his wife was expecting their second child) of blackmail when he actually tried to buy her silence? What about Rojo being pictured smoking in Argentina in a night club biting some blonde female? Did you even know all of this stuff occurred? All eyes are squarely on Rashford and Lingard for nothing. What have they really done to warrant so much hatred? All the shit you mention pales in comparison to Rojo's scandals but he's only rightfully criticized for things he does on the pitch

The problem is that we've go so much deadwood that Jlingz might be able to survive the first cull. However i wouldn't lose any sleep if we got rid of him. He's pretty shit as well

Oh wow. I never knew any of that but when was all of this? When he signed for United has been a while ago now though? Rojo has been at United for 3, 4 or 5 years now?

I hate Lingard his social media so i dont follow him. I hate all footballers their social media so i dont follow anyone. The only reason i know about this 0.012% is because it was posted here.. i must have totally missed topics about Rojo.

I guess Rashford and Lingard are discussed because Rojo sits on the bench and hardly ever plays while Rashford and Lingard start games and (mostly Lingard) are shit when they play after all.

Yeah, because Rojo is universally loved by fans isn't he?

He tops most peoples 'who should we sell list' ffs.

Not having his own fashion label, and not billing himself as a global icon are probably his only 2 redeeming features.

Yes, that moonwalk celebration is so detrimental to our youth..........give me Robbie Fowler's cocaine snorting imitation any day as well as the assorted aggressive gestures that go on sometimes in football as 'celebrations'.

I suggest you save your anger for substantial issues that you should feel anger over both in the world of football and the real world. Hint - Manchester United was a model of stability for over 2 decades and this has been whittled away by poor decision making at the top which has then cascaded downwards taking the squad/team with it.

You and some others also don't understand that regardless of professional sports players' instagrams/twitter etc, nowadays they are the most exposed they have ever been because that is the nature of media coverage now. Yes the money is too much for all of them but professional sports players also have to deal with a level of scrutiny and insensitivity by the media and public that was unknown until the last 5 years or so.

If Jesse responds to that by enjoying his life and interests and showing it because that's his personality more power to him.

Being over-paid and famous doesn't mean sports people are not human. I'm a Boston Celtics basketball team fan as well and the Celts have come off a disappointing season where notable players including young ones under-performed. One of my favourite young players is Jaylen Brown and he had to cope with his best friend's sudden death early in the season as well as lingering effects of the concussions he has experienced. Yet some commentators and fans expected him to just keeping elevating his performances.

Robbie Folwer was a different generation if that happened in this day and age it would have got a complete different reaction to what it did. This generation gets influenced very quickly I mean I listened to gangster rap when I was younger but look at today's generation and how they get influenced by music.

All this has nothing to do with the root of the problem: Lingard is just not good enough for Man United first team, and should not even be kept as a squad player as he is taking up space and opportunities that should be given to youth players instead. Manchester United is a club meant to compete and win in all competitions, and as fans we also want to make sure the winning mentality is not pissed away by the man-child that is Jlingz.

Lingard rarely plays as a RW so he is irrelevant when it comes to that position

That's what it seems like. Because people like Scholes and Neville moan about social media some fans have seemingly decided that anyone who uses it is a twat.

I'll say it again. Lingard is not a young man. He's not a boy just emerging into this world of millions and fame. He's a 26 year old man. A fully fledged adult.

He's a complete imbecile and while many may argue that what guys do off pitch has no bearing on the results, the issue is that the results should have a bearing on whats done off pitch or at least how it's presented.

If he doesn't get that this stuff just alienates an already frustrated or livid fan base who thinks most aren't fit to be at the club, he needs somebody to pull him aside and have a word.

You know you guys could just stop following him on social media if this bothers you so much? The only reason why I here about anything he does on social media is when you guys are complaining about it. And I spend way too much time on social media.

I agree to some degree that posting silly crap in the aftermath of poor performances/results is asking for trouble, but we can't expect him to refrain from posting crap, even if it's exceedingly silly, when he's on holiday. It's what people do, these days.

Let's be honest, the only thing Lingard can do at this point to appease the sort of fans who get worked up about his SM presence is to either close all his accounts - or leave United.

 In football terms not so young, still a young man. Fair enough if he was a 50 year old bloke dressed like that and making videos like that in Miami but age wise it’s not that weird at all. I agree he is an irritant though.
