I think there was a push to get Bernie not to vote for the FOSTA bill but he ignored it. The fact that Warren deserves credit for saying sex workers are also workers shows how low the bar is at the moment.
I get that the political cost of opposing these bills are high, basically your opponent can constantly slap you in the face with ‘proponent for slavery/children sex abuse/human trafficking’, especially as they neared an election campaign, but decriminalising the work itself while still criminalising the main avenue they use to have a safe work environment would be pointless.

Not a position easily made public at this point though, just would be nice to know.

Yeah but in Bernie case the people who would buy into those attacks lines are already never going to vote for a self proclaimed socialist anyway. Although with Bernie I think its a generational thing in the left, he just doesn't believe sex workers are workers.

bernie praised castro in the 2016 debates in miami. i dont think this is cowardice, i think he's got old-fashioned views about sex work.

Girl boss is going to run. OMG!!!
Putin hates her with a passion. She probably wants to stick it to him by winning a next go around. Dumb idea for many reasons and I still don't think she actually will - her but imagine the machine they ll unleash if she runs yet again with the Republicans refusing to fund election security.

On the one hand, there's Sweet Square and his sensible position on not restricting voting. On the other, there is my proposal to have instant Bernie and Corbyn govts by only allowing college students to vote.

According to a Chegg-College Pulse poll released on Thursday, 31 percent of Democratic voters attending college or university support Sanders, a 2-point increase from August and a one-point increase from the week prior to his heart attack.

Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass) placed second with 28 percent support, while entrepreneur Andrew Yang held onto third place for the third consecutive week in a row with 10 percent support.

Former Vice President Joe Biden, who remains the front-runner in most national polls, followed with 9 percent support. South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg (D), meanwhile, rounded put the top five with 6 percentage support.

Is there actually a chance of that happening, let's say because Biden ends up as collateral damage of the Ukraine/impeachment story?

Gillum also has additional baggage that could come under further scrutiny if he is put in the spotlight again.
Agreed, which is why this story seems more like a case of Warren talking to him as one of many potential VP options. At the end of the day, his baggage and neophyte status would sink him.

I think anybody after warrens VP slot will topredo him in the next debate
So Joe please take the time to set the record straight and tell us a little about hunters qualifications for the rolls in China and Ukraine... My money is on castro
The debates wont move the needle.
Unless Biden completely implodes, the DNC will prefer him to Warren who tbf to her may be compromising on certain issues as a price for being a Democrat.

Not saying he will be the nominee. Just that he should not be discounted.

The early states will show one candidate winning them or perhaps a split between them.
But Biden will be strong in the Southern states.
Isn't Warren an Okie? Surely that'll help here everyhwhere but Missoura.
