Hmmm.... delist from us stock markets headquarter abroad and base servers outside the states

Think that would pretty much nullify anything as well as stripping a lot of jobs and tax revenue from the usa

To be fair once these companies are stock market listed they have a legal obligation to protect shareholder interests ... so yeah they wont simply let it happen (or the shareholders will remove them and replace them with somebody else who wont let it happen)

Very hard for one country to try to regulate how anybody structures a global company... particularly one that is based largely online
If they are a monopoly in violation of antitrust laws, they can and should be broken up.

As I say headquarter outside the usa... list on a different stockmarket and just to be sure ensure all your data servers are outside of the usa and then your not in violation of anything
They can also make laws to penalize companies who do that sort of thing. No company wants to run afoul of the US government since that is where they make most of their money.

One of my friends works at a company that their bathrooms were out of order. They had to close down the break room because they were pulling out raw sewage into said break room.

No bathrooms. If he had to go to the bathroom he had to go down the road to publix. There was a sign on the door that said if you leave you have to clock out.

Surely this is breaking the law?

If Warren/Biden loses to Trump, do you think Progressives will leave the Democrat party?

Where would they go? The Dem Party is the only game in town in terms of affecting policy. If they were to for example migrate to the Green Party or some wacky fringe group with no hope of affecting policy, they would be further away from power than they would by attempting to take over the Dems from within.

Did conservatives leave the GOP when Goldwater lost?

Closest analogy to what bernie could be, a Goldwater of the left

Labels like ‘progressive’ or ‘liberal’ are fairly meaningless/inadequate to describe the current ‘left’ wing of the Democratic Party. Even in the YouTube world, there’s a schism between someone like Kyle Kulinski and Cenk, with the former being vociferously for Sanders /anti-Warren, while the latter is receptive, even though they were both Justice Democrats founders.

Warren is a 1930/40s liberal Republican/social democrat. Big state, interventionist foreign policy, institutional defence, labour rights. Think someone like Wendell Wilkie, former activist Democrat who ended up running as Republican against FDR on basically identical platform. The current Sanders ‘wing’ is defined by social activism, mass movement, non-intervention, made up mostly of young people disillusioned in long standing institutions, financially crippled by student loan debt, medical debt, growing up with the US humiliated after Vietnam/Watergate/Iraq etc... Interests sometimes aligned but they are in two quite fundamentally distinct camp. Saying Warren/Sanders share the same ‘lane’ is a lazy oversimplification by the talking heads.

It’s literally listed on her website. You’re doing Bernie Bros’ reputation a disservice with your partisanship.

She has backed down from it. It's a matter of sincerity and the same issue with Hillary when people would say "she has the mist progressive platform OF ALL TIME". I just posted Harry Reid saying he also doesn't believe she is committed to it.

Although she claims she's for it, most people know it won't happen irrespective of who is elected. So there is a degree of hedging that is going on with certain candidates, since they know they could also be held to account for overpromising on something that has no chance of passing. The last thing any of them want is for healthcare to be held as an albatross around their political necks.

we've been through this with obama already. its not bro-ish to be skeptical of someone who has hedged and conditioned at every turn.
That’s worrisome alright. There’s no sane reason not to provide free healthcare to all. Anything else is BS.

Let's call it don'tbotherusland
