I for one have actually met Biden supporters. A good number of them too--educated, informed voters, and not at all as out of touch as many posters here would have you believe.

But, of course, it's his perceived electability that they're most attracted to. Simply put, they want Trump gone, and if voting for Biden seems the best bet to bring that about then that's what they'll be doing in the primaries.

Tbf last time he had the whole grab em by the pussy episode blow up in the middle of the election and still won ... If he can ride that out I'm sure he can get through pretty much anything
He could but it will be a different situation this time since the independents who helped elect him have long since jumped off.

Time editor-at-large Anand Giridharadas blasted Democratic frontrunner Joe Biden for his “Thanksgiving uncle racism” in a segment on MSNBC’s AM Joy on Saturday

He told the story about being approached by a Trump campaign organization following his tweets on the topic, who messaged him privately to “try to share additional videos from other times about Joe Biden saying similar racist things.”

Sleepy Joe....the walking liability.

Democrats absolutely baffle me sometimes. The top 5 issues for DEM voters are probably some of Biden's worst policy positions, and they believe it's important to be more progressive than just removing trump. The result of this is Biden +9 in the RCP average of polls.

If biden cant win an early state, a part from S.Carolina, does he just plummet like a stone? He doesn't fit with the parties positions and literally seems to have good polling overall base on old-voters that believe "yeah he could be president".

If Biden goes into Super tuesday with 1 win out of 4 votes, I think he collapses as they start to look towards warren.

The underlying feature of the voters ,is change. They voted for Obama he was offering change and hope. When that never materialized they voted for Trump over someone who was offering them more of the same. And it seems that Corporate Democrats have not learned that lesson.

True, however you could just as easily argue that anyone running to get rid of Trump is running on change. Different gradations of change are obviously going to be subjective relative to the current circumstances in a particular person's life. Some may be content as long as there's a "normal" person leading the country. Others may want structural changes beyond getting rid of Trump.

Increasingly convinced Pete is a parody of what a generic politician on a TV show would sound like.

Bernie Sanders just lost an important progressive endorsement to Elizabeth Warren

The Working Families Party, a progressive political party that endorsed Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) for president in 2016, has now endorsed Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) for president.

The New York Times reports that the labor-aligned organization’s members overwhelmingly backed Warren’s candidacy.

A spokesperson for the party tells the Times that “tens of thousands” of party members backed Warren’s candidacy and that she received 60 percent of votes on the first ballot.

Maurice Mitchell, the Working Families Party’s national director, tells the Times that he appreciates Warren’s years of criticizing Wall Street and her knowledge of the financial system.

“Senator Warren knows how to kick Wall Street kleptocrats where it hurts, and she’s got some truly visionary plans to make this country work for the many,” Mitchell said. “We need a mass movement to make her plans a reality, and we’re going to be a part of that work.”

Because going to war has no relevance on veterans getting benefits or not.

As comments indicate Pearl Harbour, 9/11 type situations are always possible and needs a response.
It was very obvious he was talking about aggressive war though. Like the majority of American conflicts are.

That is how I understood it.

And he was spot on.
How often have we seen these adverts begging for money for injured vets.

The government is 100% obligated to look after vets coming back from the conflicts which for the most part are on behalf of American Business interests.

Don't go into these fecking wars in the first place, well cared veterans or not. That's what he should be saying.

He wants Republican voters to listen as well as Democrats. They won’t buy the peace angle but they do care about injured vets getting fecked over.
