Meant voters, but your assessment of republican politician vacillation is spot on.The number fluctuates all the time. They will support whoever let them keep their seat. Not many of them are Trumpists now.

The problem is that an organized 10% of population can successfully seize the power. Trumpists number is much higher than 10% and it is very alarming.Meant voters, but your assessment of republican politician vacillation is spot on.
Yep. This is nothing new, just packaged differently enough to seem unique. The problem is that an organized 10% of population can successfully seize the power. Trumpists number is much higher than 10% and it is very alarming.
The fact I’d like to highlight is that all these stupid conspiracy trends arise when the ruling elite fails to meet population expectations. It is a mass psychology phenomenon which dates back to ancient Chinese history. Communists, Hitler, Chavez, etc. The rise of populists always means the that political system is failing. Trump is a product of DC politics.

Well worded by Sykes. A coup in “the greatest, oldest example of democracy” is truly unique. And scary.Yep. This is nothing new, just packaged differently enough to seem unique.
Not exactly the same as what you are discussing, but some similarities...

The blueprint is pretty clear. Just don’t think we have the political will to ensure that the blueprint no longer is effective. Not just yet, anyway.Well worded by Sykes. A coup in “the greatest, oldest example of democracy” is truly unique. And scary.
I live in the part of the world where coups are a yearly experience. Living under a dictator is a lifetime experience.
For the progressive part of people here, America was always an example of democracy and a symbol of a better world which we will eventually reach. Nobody ever thought that America itself would turn into a dictatorship.
I said to my Americam mate the other day that the silver lining with Trump is that he was incompetant, imagine what Lenin would have done with this much blind support.America is fecked.
When that utter buffoon Trump can get such a large and rabid following, what happens when ab actualy competent and clever person of the same shady morals comes to power?
Spot on. Good Old World is much more experienced in this sort of dealingsI said to my Americam mate the other day that the silver lining with Trump is that he was incompetant, imagine what Lenin would have done with this much blind support.
May be not literally but it is clearly the best fit for both adjectives at onceThe greatest and oldest?
The Isle of Man says hello, Tynwald. The greatest and oldest?
I think anybody with a brain understands. All i'll say is, i'd imagine there is more than a few who have walked those halls with the flag inked on their skin. Many Reps who embraced everything wrong with which that flag stood for.I can’t put to words how irrationally mad I get every time I see that flag in the Capitol
Y’all Qaeda yeeted, Trump tweeted!Four people died today.
Will we see the same at times unhinged furor from those on the right who were all bent out of shape about Benghazi? Same death toll.
Well you live in the south and are not a cnut so it’s actually quite rational in my opinionI can’t put to words how irrationally mad I get every time I see that flag in the Capitol
I agree. He has incited civil unrest and domestic terrorism. He should jailed imo. Trump has being living according to a different set of rules and norms throughout his presidency. There should be severe consequences for him and other politicians for their actions since the Presidential election. The writing has been on the wall but they carried on with reckless abandon. Its treasoness.Absolutely insane. Trump should be prosecuted and sent down after this. This is his doing. 4 years of radicalisation.
There is thatI think anybody with a brain understands. All i'll say is, i'd imagine there is more than a few who have walked those halls with the flag inked on their skin. Many Reps who embraced everything wrong with which that flag stood for.
That’s fairWell you live in the south and are not a cnut so it’s actually quite rational in my opinion
For 4 years of that war, and for many years after, that flag never entered the capitol, until now. Historic in a fecked up wayI can’t put to words how irrationally mad I get every time I see that flag in the Capitol
Yeah I can’t argue with thatI think anybody with a brain understands. All i'll say is, i'd imagine there is more than a few who have walked those halls with the flag inked on their skin. Many Reps who embraced everything wrong with which that flag stood for.
Oh for sureI think anybody with a brain understands. All i'll say is, i'd imagine there is more than a few who have walked those halls with the flag inked on their skin. Many Reps who embraced everything wrong with which that flag stood for.
Yep. I can’t really explain how much of my life I’ve spent studying that war. It is what got me into history when I was a child, so it’s always been my history hobby area even when I was studying other time periods for actual academic pursuits... I guess that is why it turns my stomach so badly. It’s a “that’s not supposed to be there... too many people died for that to be there“ feeling. For 4 years of that war, and for many years after, that flag never entered the capitol, until now. Sickening symbology.I can’t put to words how irrationally mad I get every time I see that flag in the Capitol
Also the first time since 1814 that the US Gov surrendered the Capitol.Yep. I can’t really explain how much of my life I’ve spent studying that war. And an Australian flag in the crowd. Our PM also won't condrm Trump.Sickening symbology.
Then there’s that. Also the first time since 1814 that the US Gov surrendered the Capitol.
Y’all Qaeda = HM Navy confirmed.

Better get eyes on New Orleans, I guess. Also the first time since 1814 that the US Gov surrendered the Capitol.
Y’all Qaeda = HM Navy confirmed.
Yet they are poised to regain Congress in 2022 and win back the Presidency in 2024.Can you believe that this shit is still going, all because Republicans simply believe democrats winning an election is illegitimate. The entire party needs to be consigned to the dustbin of history. This is a disgrace.
2022 senate map favors the Democrats. Who knows how House will go though.Yet they are poised to regain Congress in 2022 and win back the Presidency in 2024.
Fascism will rule in America.

I wouldn’t say they are favoured. NV, NH, AZ and GA are all tough turf to defend unless you get a big turnout (D+6 and above). Meanwhile, FL, PA, NC, WI are tough seats to go after, even if they are battleground states, especially with population trend. In WI for instance, Tony Evers won with sth like 20k vote in 2018 in a D+9 national environment.2022 senate map favors the Democrats. Who knows how House will go though.
