I'd take him to be honest. He may be a bit of a prick but he'd be joining to play well and get into the France team, be a regular etc; For a free transfer you have to feel he's worth a punt.

He won't join Arsenal. We can't afford him. He said it himself club like spurs is below his level and we(5th or 6th) are even worse than spurs (3rd place). His mom is probably calling Ed everyday about how much his son love man Utd and the weather of the city so no worry.

Yeah exactly. Other exemple, he was subbed in in a game with France 6 months before the world cup (so basically when you play for your spot in the squad), and had a terrible performance. He said that it was because it was too cold oustide and was afraid to get injured...

He's not very good at holding the ball even if he can do it, is favourite thing it to rush forward (he does it pretty well but often screws up the pass after that). Very very poor long passer, ok with short passes but he almost never uses his right foot.
Typical exemple of player that could be really good if he played to his strengths but he just doesn't feel like it and has his own way of seeing how he should play. When he was at PSG, Emery wanted to use him as a defensive midfielder (he has the physical ability to do it) but instead he had his mother/agent lobby so the club recruits a real DM so he doesn't have to do it. It's one of the reasons why he didn't extend his contract, because he didn't want to play as a DM and wanted garantees he woudln't have to do it.

Bit of a dilemma this one. He's obviously a very good player, and would be a great addition. His attitude problems though means we should technically stay well clear of him, but considering he's on a free transfer and we need to spend money in other areas, then it seems to good to turn down.
Saying that, he knows he will be leaving on a free transfer therefore it's likely him and his agent will demand around £300k a week.

Pretty much this, steer well clear unless we want more pampered millionaires moping around on the field because he doesnt like the shade of red used on some advertising boardings. Or some other vague transgression he dreamed up which caused him to throw his toys out of the pram.
Woody has pissed me off so much I suggest we sign rabiot and iccardi so he has to deal with rabiots mum and wanda
on a serious note though wasnt rabiot on city's books as a kid ... wonder if that could be a possibility for him as peps holding midfielders still get quite a bit of freedom to play
