Rabiot is also just much better when played in those positions since he is much better athletically and technically.
I never say they are on the same level. Just similar in style not similar level. Playing on the similar style with more technique doesn’t mean player cannot be considered be much better player.

ITK on reddit said he expects us to sign him.

Likewise; Adrien Rabiot's Agent/Mother and the Sports Lawyer hired to discuss contract terms have now completed their rounds, with them finishing up with United to present final demands based on what others were offering. There was a serious offer from "Italy" and a half-hearted attempt from a few others. Final i's and t's being dotted and crossed, but he is pretty much a cert to join now. The only possible hold-up would be if Madrid made a late surge for him, but as the renewal of Toni Kroos has pretty much alleviated those concerns.

Well of course it is. Why on earth would anyone care what ‘an ITK on reddit’ said anymore than a homeless man at Monument Station?
Well, that depends, what did the homeless man say?

Well, its as good as half of the tweet in the tweet thread. So believe it or not, is your choice.

This one is a weird transfer, wherever it is he's going. You'd think his future was wrapped up now. The man is literally a free agent is he not?

Maybe because the guy has got things right before.

Cheers, so that means if anyone wanted to sign him they'd still need to negotiate via PSG? I thought he was free to talk to other clubs and all that jazz.

Wasn’t sure for certain, all I know is that it was in Dutch.
If it was about a Belgian player at a French club, then I have no reason to disbelieve him.

It likely will all be wrapped up, just be announced after 1st July when his contract expires I would expect, hopefully to us

It’s the same with Griezmann. Both know where they are going.

Nah he can sign a pre-contract arrangement. Any footballer is free to talk to other clubs if they have less than 6 months remaining on their contract

He can but it’s likely that nothing will be announced until after that date.

He's a good player, good technique, can beat the press, can pass and a decent engine. The farce will start when we want to renew his contract. Hope he's done with his irritation about playing DM.

wickla!
Him and Bruno would be excellent additions add AWB and I would be alot happier , I know we still need a CB and a RW but those three would be really good additions.

Herrera has yet to be announced as a PSG player either which I also find weird

Gotta a feeling he'll end up at Atletico Madrid. With Rodri and Partey potentially being sold, I can see them going for Rabiot.

Cheers - OK makes a bit of sense. I guess I had expected well reputable sources having a stronger indication of where he's going. We'll find out soon enough - I do hope it's us as it's low risk.

Maybe they’re sitting on it until Rabiot has announced who he is joining (probably us) so they can look “bigger”? He who announces last announces longest?

Bruno Fernandes and DeLigt, also AWB
Every single link barring Ruben Dias
That is thinking of logically their effect. So De ligt and AWB would improve our defence meaning our attack will have more confidence in taking risks and they will get the ball more often as well. With Rabiot and Felix, their ability to beat a man/press is enough to get you excited even if they have a less of an impact than AWB and De ligt.

Imagine the possible transformation of our right side this window...

From Young-Herrera-Lingard
To AWB-Fernandes-James

Our pressing would be a joy to watch next season if we can get Pogba and Martial to do it too...

Martial-Rashford-James
Pogba Fernandes
Rabiot/Partey/Rice
Shaw De Ligt Lindelöf AWB

AWB can also beat a man. Im excited DeLigt since not only is he a brilliant defender hes also a monster in the air and a goal threat. Its not only attackers btw who get peoples juices going. Each to their own though

1 performance in a small summer tournament doesn’t make me want to buy him
Yeah me too but between the possibility of not buying de Ligt and the obscene amount of money demanded for KK and Maguire, maybe this guy wouldn't be so bad after all.
