I’ve never been a Springsteen fan. Wouldn’t go to his show if I got free tickets

opinions , eh? But it’s all good
I like some Springsteen tracks but I was never a fan as such. I then saw him 7 or 8 years ago and that man knows how to put on a show

Do you have anything after Love/Hate and if so, is it any good? Everything Is is so strong that I bought Love/Hate without checking anything beforehand, but I was kinda disappointed. It's not bad, but like a bland, poppy version of Everything Is and misses the bite that made that one so good. If they continued down the Love/Hate track, then I won't need to dive in any further.
I think I stopped listening at love/hate, skimmed thru the album and wasn't impressed and never went back! They're still going from the looks of things.

Good shout, and I’d add Psychodrama too, I’ve listened to that album on repeat more than once.
Lesley off Psychodrama us up there with Stan in my opinion for story telling.

Every album by The Smiths (though not nearly equally). Except "Louder Than Bombs", due to "Golden Lights".
The Strokes; Is This It
David Bowie; Hunky dory, Aladdin Sane, Ziggy Stardust, Station to Station, Low, Heroes.
Kate Bush; Never for Ever, The Hounds of Love
The The; Infected, Mind Bomb
Japan; Oil on Canvas
Lustans Lakejer; En plats i solen
Marvin Gaye; What's Going On
Radiohead; A Moon Shaped Pool (OK Computer gets denied over "Fitter Happier", though that feels a bit unfair actually)
Simple Minds: New Gold Dream

John Cale - Paris 1919
Kraftwerk - Radio-Aktivität
Kraftwerk - Die Mensch-Maschine
Radiohead - Ok Computer
Radiohead - In Rainbows
Daft Punk - R.A.M.
White Stripes - Elephant
NIN- The Downward Spiral
Leonard Cohen - I'm Your Man
Fleetwood Mac - Rumours
Air - Moon Safari
Arcade Fire - Everything Now
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
Nick Cave - Murder Ballads
Neil Young - Harvest
Buena Vista Social Club - Buena Vista Social Club
Big Arcade Fire fan, but am struggling to find one that hasn't got at least one song I don't much like. And if I did it wouldn't be "Everything Now", which to my mind is their most uneven album! Still, taste eh. And it does have some brilliant ones on it too.

"Wish you were here" is an excellent pick, I didn't think of that.

Funny you put Bryter Layter on there. Out of his three main albums, that's the only one I would leave off because of the title song. Now that I think about it though, it's still a great song just my least favourite of his I guess and I have been known to skip it on occassion. I do like it though so it maybe should be on my list:

Elliott Smith - Elliott Smith & Either/Or
MBV - Loveless
Beatles - Revolver through to Abbey Road
Neil Young - After the Goldrush
Love - Forever Changes
Nick Drake - Five Leaves Left & Pink Moon
David Bowie - Hunky Dory
Pixies - Doolittle
Strokes - Is This It

After a little thought, these are the first albums that come to mind where I never skip a track.
Yeah, I just stuck the one down that I know I would listen to and enjoy all the way though, but I could have easily put down those two as well. A genius gone before his time!

Either/Or was also on my mind when doing the list. Ballad of Big Nothing is one of my favourite songs ever.

Good shout. Dookie will always be the famous one but I prefer Kerplunk before that and Insomniac afterwards.
Nimrod was my first tape (lol) that I bought with my own money and I wore it out on a trip down through England. Just crazy nostalgia for me!

Everything Now is quite controversial among fans. But I absolutely love it. Especially the influence of Thomas Bangalter. Beautiful sound throughout.

I only enjoyed Electric Blue and Creature Comforts from that one.

Dummy is a blast from the past and a great album.

Keep seeing Leftism put forward and downloaded it cos my memory is hazy. Also remember Chemical Brothers Exit Planet Dust was good to drive around to in the 90s but will find out how it sounds now.

Peter Gabriel's "So" is my first answer I've not seen here.
Yeah, I should have included that one as well!
I think I stopped listening at love/hate, skimmed thru the album and wasn't impressed and never went back! They're still going from the looks of things.
Ah well, guess I'll have to listen to that later stuff one day myself then! :D

Exit planet dust is definitely a cracker too, and was on the consideration list.

Metallica - The Black Album
Iron Maiden - senjutsu
Iron Maiden - Brave New World
W.A.S.P - The Last Command

Rock in Rio by maiden and S&M by Metallica but don't know it they count as they're live albums with songs from different albums.

Probably loads more, I generally like most songs by the bands I listen to tbh

Karate - Unsolved
Beastie Boys - Check Your Head / Paul's Boutique

I actually far prefer songs from the first and the third Rainbow album. It just that these 2 albums had 1-2 songs each that I reaaaaly don't care and I skip them, in contrast with Rising where every song it's a banger and more complete.

Catch the rainbow, temple of the king, man of the silver mountain, kill the king, gates of Babylon and rainbow eyes are my top rainbow songs (then it's stargazer and lady in the lake from rising).

Forgot Love - Alone again or.
