Round of 16 (Games start on Thursday, 25th Feb 2016; 9 AM GMT)
  • 25 Feb 2016: Skills vs MJJ @ Colombo.
  • 25 Feb 2016: Boycott vs Samid @ Cape Town.
  • 26 Feb 2016: KM vs PaulScholes18 @ Melbourne.
  • 27 & 28 Feb 2016: Bank Holidays. More importantly Ind-Pak and United game on.
  • 29 Feb 2016: Skizzo vs RedTiger @ Lords.
  • 01 Mar 2016: NM vs EAP @ Karachi.
  • 02 Mar 2016: Mani vs Aldo @ Wellington.
  • 02 Mar 2016: Harshad vs VP @ Kolkata.
  • 03 Mar 2016: Red Viper vs Crappy @ Barbados.

Round of 16 Summary

  • Skills vs MJJ: Skills bats first. Skills drops Aaron Finch and the Bermudan Whale drops MJJ. The excel was not enough as The Whale wins it.
  • Boycott vs Samid: Boycott bats first and rests Tikolo. Jaddu is sacrificed for Samid's team. Samid wins it with Collingwood taking a scorcher.
  • KM vs PaulScholes18: KM bats first and drops a lie. Also drops Junaid Khan. PS18 drops Hafeez. PS18s fear of the press, made this a one way traffic. KM advances.
  • Skizzo vs RedTiger: Team Skizzo will bat first dropping Irish legend Kevin O' Brien. RT-LC have decided to drop controversial figurehead, Misbah. A game that ended with 11 votes a piece, it was down to a best of 3 votes (After Superover was rejected) which ended in heartbreak for RT-LCs team TWICE!
  • NM vs EAP: NM has decided to chase the game and has dropped Ray Price. EAP has dropped McMillan. NM wins.
  • Mani vs Aldo: Mani bats first, drops Ijazz17 and R. Arnold. Ando drops David Miller. Aldo wins.
  • Harshad vs VP: Harhsad bats first, drops Mills. VP listened to his critics and dropped Gavaskar. The most boring match in the history of cricket drafts, rather unfairly though. Harshad wins.
  • Red Viper vs Crappy: The Viper has bitten it's way into bat first and has dropped Roger Harper. Crappy will use Craig McMillan as the water carrier. Crappy wins.

Would like to know the pitch conditions first. Today's MCG is a lot different than yesteryear's MCG.

The knocked out players are available to be drafted again. 2 picks after first knock out round.

You will need to sacrifice 2 players before we start drafting though.

@Skills, if you have trouble arranging the games etc, you can take @Akshay help. And any of us are more than happy to create the match threads.

Let us know when this starts.

Forget the MCG part. Think what you would expect from a typical aussie pitch. They're an indicator of the conditions in that country

I have a doubt. Pak pitches are more Pace friendly than rest of subcontinent. So as our match is in Karachi, I should expect the same right?

If we are starting Friday, I won't be around much on day 2 which is our team's turn as I am shifting house on Saturday. Anyway @harshad should be here and it is his team in the end..
