Wait, the translated Spanish report did not say it was De Gea who forced them. Where did that part come from?
Probably (hopefully) wrong... I just needed an natural English version. Others are coming out now.

Yeah, I'm not sure whether the article is poorly translated, has to be taken in consideration as well.

Besides even if it is only DDG setting the meeting it can also go really bad if he knew what will happen and later he had any possible connection with threatening them.

The question is why the feck will all of them do that
.
Oh that's an easy one. The vast majority of footballers are morons.

Prostitute crying rape. Sounds like the Kobe fiasco where it was consensual sex only to be described as rape for the attention.

There's this idea that the media should be allowed to be free in what they write. While that's not a bad principe at all, there should be boundaries as to how much they can write without clear evidence.

"You and your paper can feck off."
The Sun 'article' has been updated, adding literally nothing in terms of evidence that he's been sent home.

However, the Premier League man will no longer be available for his country’s tournament curtain-raiser against the Czech Republic on Monday.

De Gea earlier learnt Real Madrid would NOT be pursuing him this summer, putting to bed one of the longest running and most controversial transfer sagas in recent years.

The Spaniard has been an integral cog in the Manchester United machine post-Sir Alex Ferguson and the news of him remaining at Old Trafford – alongside new boss Jose Mourinho – is a major boost for the Red Devils faithful.

If he's culpable of either the cause of or suppression of information relating to sexual assault/rape, then we should kick him out of the club and I hope he's behind bars soon.

If not, then hopefully that happens to all those actually involved.

He's at the very least a complete idiot for ever getting involved in anything like this. Hopefully his involvement is minimal. What a dick!

Nothing to say he's in the wrong really. Can't see it going anywhere as far as he's concerned.
Allegedly organising an underaged rape with a dodgy porn producer but not taking part isn't in the wrong?

It's not really difficult this. The claim from the protected witness is that De Gea set up the meet. There's no claims that he's been involved in any threats whatsoever, so why the befudges are you even going on about it.

Why are Isco and Martinez mentioned as well? From what I read in the articles, it was Munian and U21 players and DDG involved.

Did you even read the report?

They have text messages from De Gea to the girl in question asking about her being with 5 Man Utd players.

The absolute state of some of the posts in this thread so far.

I'll be disgusted with DDG if it's true cause if so then I've wasted ten minutes of my life fitting him into my fantasy team.

Even arranging a meeting is a crime. He's as liable to be charged as the others, but the charges would be different I presume.
Is is illegal to hire escorts in Spain? I dont think it is in England.. I remember there being stories about Ronaldo, Nani and Anderson..

1) She wasn't underage
2) Let the court decide if he knew whether they were forced or not.

DDG seems like a bright lad, but then Giggs had a great public image until recently...

It's not really difficult this. The claim from the protected witness is that De Gea set up the meet. There's no claims that he's been involved in any threats whatsoever, so why the befudges are you even going on about it.
In a subsequent hearing, the witness finally named the footballers as Iker Muniain and another U21 national team player, and that David de Gea had arranged the evening through Torbe.
Well if it was only DDG arranging the meeting it's good because others are serious charges. But then if he knew what was going to happen is still bad.

There is a massive overreaction in the first couple of pages here. The story has just broke an hour ago and so far all we know is taht Torbe are the dodgy ones, and that DDG may have been involved with dealing with them. There is no evidence that DDG knew the girls were being abused if it occurred, or took part in it. Let's wait a little bit and see how this plays out before burning someone at the stake.

It's classic pimp style in Spain: Tracksuits and double basses *.

* It's a bass, by the looks of it, not a cello.
Ah yes, you caught my very intentional mistake... I just wanted to identify the other culturally uplifted members of the Caf society.

The reactions on here are ridiculous.

There is currently NO evidence De Gea did anything wrong.

Keep your questioning of his character and morals to IF he is found gulity.

This is what is wrong with society today, so quick to make inflammatory statements and judgments based off nothing.

De Gea deserves our support unless he is proven guilty.
I'm still on page 3, when you posted this, and I don't think I saw a single post without the word "if" on it.

I think everyone is aware the discussion is very hypothetical at this stage.

Hopefully Mourinho and the players wear t-shirts with "we support David" in the next press conference and training session. That'll show 'em.
