I pity the poor fool who stinks like I do!
Fun. But atrocious. Snyder is 50/50. At best.
depends, do you like shit zombie movies? Is this worth watching then or not
I watched United under van Gaal?depends, do you like shit zombie movies?
You've summed up everything I wanted to say. Literally every pointTo further elaborate
- The first hour was just so... Dull, just uninteresting character setup, world building that's all over the place and yeah, just takes far too long. Conversations that could take 30 seconds have to take about 3 minutes... Because reasons.
- if Tanaka was only interested in the Zombie head... Why not just make that the mission? Why did they even need a team? She was literally the first zombie they bumped into... They could have been in and out.
- Why did he also not know the combination to his own safe? Reasons I presume.
- Batista's daughter... Why would she think her friend is still alive, why would she think she can find her, and why do I care? All I know about this "Greta" is she's a bad mother and dumb...
- Zombie's hybernate...Because, reasons
- Social Media lady smashes through several Zombies, jumps through a window... And they don't bother to help get out with the 4 or 5 zombies around her? Nor does she use her last words to warn her friend that the evil dude is, well, evil... Because, reasons.
- we have 20 minutes until a nuke folks, now seems like a good time to tell Batista I kinda fancy him... (was that seeded at all!?)
- We have 20 minutes until a nuke folks, I'm pretty sure I can make it across time, through hoardes of Zombies, into the Zombie lair/hotel to rescue my friend (who may or may not be dead) by myself and make it back again
- That whole Greta subplot was just terrible, and the film itself knew it was terrible, as they didn't even bother to let us know if she was dead or alive by the end.
There's loads more, but that's just a few that stuck out.
I think it is just a fun movie. It's not going to win any oscars but it's entertaining. Is this worth watching then or not
It was mentioned by the blonde that let her in to begin with that she'd previously left a bloke for dead and he turned up 3 days later, still alive, having been kept in a room by chief chomper before escaping. Yer man apparently liked keeping a group in a room and he'd take one a day for something. I can't remember any other elaboration.I'd pretty much zoned out in the second half but did they ever explain why Zeus kept Geeta and her mates alive?
While this all is accurate...I turned my brain off, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm probably biased because I like Batista / Snyder / actors that play Ghost, John Dorie and Juice / it has a mother-fecking Zombie tiger. To further elaborate

He was greatIt was so ridiculous. They shouldnt have added the needless 'take the head'. Instead, in the vault, it should have been something else that would be the more 'valuable' thing.
Im still not sure why Coyote was taking people into there, like what was the purpose? To find stuff to make money? I might have just zoned out when they explained that. Like why did the mother go in there with two other expendables? Why did the other two expendable women go in?
Saying that, i enjoyed it for the nonsense it was. But its ridiculous. Batista and Ghost (knew how that would end) were cool. As was the german guy.
Well he did a really good job with Dawn of the Dead remake so I was hoping he might get this right. You are surprised ?
It's more Sucker Punch than 300Is this bad Snyder or ok Snyder ? ( I dont think he has a particularly high ceiling)
So, absolute schlock Snyder then. It's more Sucker Punch than 300
I thought it was terrible and I can usually tolerate Snyder's films more than most on here. So, absolute schlock Snyder then.
This basically.I thought it was terrible and I can usually tolerate Snyder's films more than most on here.

His videos are great and I do enjoy them
A friend of mine sent me this Army of the Dead pitch meeting video just to vent
Basically everything you said. My word. What a waste of time. Finished it in 3 sittings, and still found myself fast forwarding through it.
I was never a “fan” but at least he’s consistently on the spot and fairly funny. So he’s winning me over. His videos are great and I do enjoy them
It's a fun way to critique the stupid things we see
The zombie who lost his queen...I usually like Snyder stuff, at least a bit, but this has to be up there with the worst films I've ever seen.
It just wasn't entertaining, too much really dodgy dialogue and yet none of the characters were sympathetic. It was really inconsistent in tone, and story, as well as how it established rules and then broke them all at the end.
Just awful.
