This thread and others boggle my mind. Too many deluded about our status and blind to the failures of recent history.

Let's be realistic. We will be lucky to sign anyone this month. We are not the draw we once were. And our strategy for signings is all over the shop still linked with players who have no chance of coming.

If we are going to get anyone, we have to concentrate on priority areas. And another DM with little form or history definitely is not.

You wrote in another post that we have many midfielders. This is what we have: McTom injured for months; Matic a pale shadow of his former self and on the way out; Pogba injured for most of the season; Fred that has only very recently started to show some level of quality. As of Today we literally have only 2 fit mids for at least the fallowing month, one of them being the terrible and aging Matic. In AM we have Pereira, Lingard and Mata; are they great? Of course not, but at least we have options as bad as they may be. In CM we don't even have numbers let alone quality.

Nooooo!!!! Not another uncreative DM. That is NOT what we need.
Always think we need a DM, AMC and striker. Our defense isn't that good, and they need protection somewhere in midfield.

Agree. Better to have specialist in certain departaments, than to have a lot of MC that are "floating" in the field.

No...my comments stress we lack creativity in midfield. That is the priority in that position. We actually lack fundamentally injury or no injury.

Yep and I fear we are going to run Fred into the ground. If he picks up an injury we are well and truly fecked. We'd have Matic and Pereira in midfield against Wolves and Liverpool!

I said that about United and Dortmund; look what happened there. I think Arteta over Ole wins.
Yes, let's actually look what happened there. I don't see how it has any relevance anyway.

 Does it bother you when the facts disagree with your agenda? Feel free to explain to me - with credible sources as evidence I might add - why Haaland decided to sign for Dortmund over us.
Proceeds to quote his agent.

Were not trying to sign Neymar or Mbappe, if we can’t get a player with the profile of Soumare we may as well give up and go home.

What facts do you have? The news papers? Or is your Dad best mates with Alfie?

At the end of the day he was his coach and gave him his debate, he flew out to get the deal over the line but yet Haaland still didn’t come.

What a load of gas that was by you. Not surprised though. Keep following Ole like a sheep. Claimed to know some truth then waited for me to spill the tea...

Say what you have to say. I was interested in the full story you was fully aware of. Don’t try switch it up... I’ll be waiting.

It’s actually your turn but it involves saying something that makes Ole seems smart so I can understand you struggling. FYI the evidence was he signed for Dortmund. Maybe you misunderstood me ;). Doubt it though.

It isn't. You've made a stupid statement. It's up to you to validate it. It's not difficult.

So the evidence of why he signed for Dortmund was because he signed for Dortmund. Erm? That's about right for you.

Maybe you should read what you actually write. You was the one with the insightful info. You said I was missing things out. Don’t hesitate elaborate. What was I missing out... basically like Ole’s tactics you don’t have a clue... Giving the big talk and whipping out a miniature.

No. YOU used Dortmund as an example with no prompting whatsoever and have so far given no justification for doing so. YOU made the original comment and so far has not given any information to support it. I said I didn't see how it was relevant and you went straight to form and started insulting. What's wrong with you? How are you finding this difficult? You understand the basic principles of a conversation, yes?

Who cares as you can plainly see we are crap and quite frankly I’m any player with intelligence I’m not coming to work under Ole Gunner Solskjaer....

So take your anger out on me if you want... we aren’t signing no-one in January.

Way to deflect

Someone's just read back and realised that despite all the uncalled for shithousery and petty insults, they were in the wrong. Simply a 'my bad' would suffice.

Me and my anger? Let's do an exercise. Quote me the last time you said something, ANYTHING that wasn't completely negative on this forum. Seriously. Go through your posts and show me one.

As for this today's performance? It's a disgrace. The players and the managers are being completely outclassed. Despite your constant insistence that I'm a Ole lover because I don't hate everything about United all of the time (Ben Shapiro defence anyone?), I will say I wouldn't be bothered if Ole left. Which has been my stance all along, and can be seen posted by me numerous times.

Now we've got that digression out of the way, we need to bring someone like this in asap, and if we are going up against the likes of Arsenal as our main competition, then we've got a great chance of bringing him in. But by all means, turn this into another thread about how much you hate Ole if you like.

Why are we going to beat Arsenal? If the kid has a choice and knows he can play for Ole or Arteta he’s not coming here. Which was my original point. But as you like to stalk my posts like Joe Goldberg.. you fail to just listen to the truth in my post... and try to respond like your saving redcafe from prime evil. I’m not negative we are just sh!te.

Arsenal can't compete financially with us. If there was no other reason whatsoever that would be enough.

So again, we defect. It's hard not to see your posts and unfortunately for you, I tend to respond to the ones filled with the most 'sh!te.' It's the same thing in every thread, regardless of the subject matter. Not negative? feck me.

No no... don’t think it bothers me. It’s quite an honour I get under your skin.

Back to my point your argument doesn’t weight up as like I said with Dortmund.. they don’t have the financial muscle to compete with us but where is Haaland now? I rest my case.

They don't have the financial muscle. Hence why they had to agree to crazy clauses in order to get the deal through. You can rest your case indeed!

But we have financial muscle so what was our excuse then?

Errrm... we don't want buyout clauses in our contracts?
Excuse me...

You just said Dortmund didn’t have the financial muscle so they agreed all these clauses but us with our financial muscle could have offered a better pay packet but they would have still requested clauses to compensate for what exactly?
