Just realised that there is just 1 Spanish side in the last 16. Thats not good for Laliga. But i guess its great for Madrid ( I think they would benifit from this in terms of payment/prize money )

If only I was this good at playing the lottery. I called it when I said Benfica would get club Brugge.

Some big Clubs going out this round. Whoever wins their tie, will fancy getting to Semi Finals.

I guess Spurs would have been worse, but Chelsea is such a depressingly boring draw..
We have to be the only big club you've never faced in Europe. Bit of an odd take but okay.

United before a return leg in the Bernabeu is going to take some serious coaching from Klopp.

Brugge v Benfica. Best draw possible for both teams I guess
I think we're a step above Tottenham (at least) atm. They lost and drew to Sporting... Which were robbed out of the last 16 (atrocious refereeing in that last game against Frankfurt )

I would feel pretty confident against any team (bar Liverpool) tbh, but Brugge does seem the weaker link

Not a big club historically and dull football/atmosphere to be expected.

So what. Why should I care about some titles bought with oil money.
Fair enough. Will be good for Bellingham to get a sneak peak of his new home.

RBL - MCFC
Nkunku in the spotlight of EPL clubs

BVB - CFC
Pulisic and Auba return to get their asses handed to them

ACM - TH
No Kane, no gain

FCB - PSG
A campaign against desertification fought by desert experts, to no avail

IM - FCP
Poor Porto

EF - SSCN
Ein Tracht Prügel

CBKV - SBL
Run, Forrest, run!

Wow, but bring it on. Hopefully Everton will return to being our bitches. Newcastle will have their customary injuries to wafer players like Trippier, Maxim, Wilson and Almiron. And Utd have their Barca tie to think about.

Not really since there are two rounds of EL played in the period it takes CL to complete the first knockout round.

Bayern-PSG is interesting one.

Will be cheering on Napoli to go as far as possible. Don't care much about rest of them.

Ok not gonna lie, the reaction to Liverpool-Real is very familiar  I swear I’ve heard the same thing for the third time or something.

“Liverpool will want revenge”
“They will fancy their chances”
“RMA are in transition”
“Too reliant on Benzema”
“Depends on how good Liverpool are on the day”

A lot can change between now and February, certainly not picking a favorite. They are bound to finally defeat us and it might be ironic it would be the one time Liverpool aren’t at their greatest (so far at least).

But reading and hearing the exact same comments as last time and the times before that is just funny.

City are a shadow of a club they were last season. They're one-dimensional and rely heavily on individual brilliance rather than a collective game play. Leipzig can definitely pull off an upset here.

PSG x Bayern the most interesting game to watch.

What an uninspiring group of teams left in the CL.

Unless Liverpool luck a win against Madrid, they should be favourites. Maybe Munich actually.
That’s the landscape of Europe at the moment. The elite clubs aren’t that good anymore.

Though the likes of Benfica, Napoli (maybe Brugge too I don’t know) have played some good stuff and are looking like the surprise packages this season.

Imagine if you beat PSG then get City after.
If Bayern wins the Champions League beating Barca, Inter, PSG, City and then the winner of Liverpool/Real Madrid nobody can tell about winning it because of the easy way...

(But if it would be like this we probably would lose the final against Frankfurt ;)

That would be poetic and typical of Bayern :D

They're not getting past the round of 16 though, so I wouldn't worry about that. :wenger:
