Champions league Semi Finals 2020-21 - April 27-28 and May 4-5

Upsetting game.

PSG were playing City off the park in a way you never see.

Then melted down to a shocking level.

Literally haven't seen Mbappe in the second half, except that one time when he dillydallied on the shot.

This. He walked around most of the time. When that said, City completely ran the 2nd half and deserved to win overall...City obviously big favorites to go through now.

Good question. If they ( Chelsea) are 4th and win it I don’t think it matters does it? Isn’t the rule that only 4 teams are in from England
Basically, it's four from England. Five max. So there's a version of this where Arsenal win europa, Chelsea win CL than whoever finished fourth (Liverpool etc) wouldn't qualify for CL and get knocked down to europa.
If the CL and/or europa winner finishes top 4 the place doesn't drop down to 5th, it'll go to the next highest European seed

PSG a bunch of babies. They don't have that PL grit when the going gets tough.

Failure. Winning the league wasnt a problem for them pre Pep. If anything, announcing Pep cost them the Leicester title.

Are you nuts? They never even had a manager win more than one league and Pep would have left winning 3.

Incredible result for City, especially after that first half. PSG still have a chance though. On paper, they have to win 2-1 at the Etihad. If Leeds can do it, PSG should be able to too.

Ridiculous from PSG to be so good first half to throw it away like that in the second

Mbappe hasn’t had a shot all game at home in a CL semi. Slightly overrated player.

Can't call a player overrated over one bad game.

Imagine someone mentioning disastrous R9 performances at CL with Real Madrid over many years playing there. His only great game was that hatrick against Man Utd...the rest got booed by Real Madrid fans at Bernabéu for his underwhelming CL performances and being overweight.

Plastics in the air, everywhere I look around.
Plastics in the air, every trophy, every round.
And I don’t know if football is ruined
And I don’t know if football’s the same
But these plastics, their ‘victories’ are hollow.
They’ve totally fecked up the game

Well on course for a Premier league Champions league final as I was expecting before the quarter final stage. Bayern was really the only team that might have stopped that but had the misfortune to be missing their main attackers v PSG

Pep has learned alot about his team tonight. City were getting outplayed massively in the first half, which I think was because they were hesitant to push forward due to being petrified of Neymar, mbappe, ADM.
Second half they pushed up and when the threat towards said 3 psg players was diminished, they dominated. Did Pep learn though?

Then again he called it perfectly. Changed it in the second half.

The first and second half was night and day. Haven't seen a game of football like that for a good while.
