He is a liability. That situation with the Huddersfield player getting between Lindeloef and Smalling is clear evidence of it, it was piss easy to read what was going to happen next and Smalling just keeps his line, he's thick as feck for a footballerCommentators even said the VAR guys looked at Smallings incident and deemed it not a penalty. But yeah, obvious penalty, Smallings a liability etc etc. Usual muppets being muppets alert.
That player was Lindelof's player from what I could see. But yeah, let's blame it on Smalling immediately. He is a liability. Watch the situation again, if you don't understand why Smalling is the culprit there I'll be happy to explain whyThat player was Lindelof's player from what I could see. But yeah, let's blame it on Smalling immediately.
No need, thanks. I understand Smalling is culprit in every situation, including our other players' inability to pass the ball forward today, all that is entirely Smalling's fault.Watch the situation again, if you don't understand why Smalling is the culprit there I'll be happy to explain why
You don't seem very intelligent if that's your understanding. No need, thanks. I understand Smalling is culprit in every situation, including our other players' inability to pass the ball forward today, all that is entirely Smalling's fault.
FYI - that’s not how VAR works. It will only intervene if a decision has been made that was clearly wrong. That decision could and have gone either way and therefore VAR will not intervene.Commentators even said the VAR guys looked at Smallings incident and deemed it not a penalty. But yeah, obvious penalty, Smallings a liability etc etc. Usual muppets being muppets alert.
I'm only saying what the commentators said and they said that VAR reviewed it and they said it wasn't a penalty. So i'm assuming they're reviewing all incidents internally as a way of testing/practicing the review process.FYI - that’s not how VAR works. Well it’s available today so I guess we’ll see won’t weHe will cost us a penalty every single game if VAR viable.
I'd actually agree with you if Smalling wasn't coming across at all. But he was sliding across to try to get there, but he simply didn't have enough time to make up all that distance (while also racing back).Watch the situation again, if you don't understand why Smalling is the culprit there I'll be happy to explain why
He knows where the player is, what he should do in that situation is cross over towards Lindeloef, who needs to close space between him and Shaw, while Ashley Young moves in more central. A player shouldn't be allowed to move in that freely between two defenders running in straight lines. Smalling is the one that's supposed to close space thereI'd actually agree with you if Smalling wasn't coming across at all. Like against Chelsea when he was blamed for following Jones' player, right? He knows where the player is, what he should do in that situation is cross over towards Lindeloef, who needs to close space between him and Shaw, while Ashley Young moves in more central. I'm sorry, but given your earlier posts and your lack of interest in an intellectual debate, I have no interest in debating with you and as such you've been placed on ignore. Have a good day.Like against Chelsea when he was blamed for following Jones' player, right?
Tbf, he’s rarely been a problem against teams like this. Put him up against the best teams who play fast along the ground, like Spurs and City, and he’ll struggle. He can't even be shit consistently. Just as you've made up your mind and want him binned he puts in a great performance and makes you think you've been harsh.
