Oh wow, CM 01/02, I played that one a lot. I actually did a similar league experiment thing on here a few years ago, but that was with Football Manager.

Yeah if it gets too complex I'll just lose steam over time. I've always enjoyed simulating this game because they really let things evolve without many restrictions. I once simulated until the year 2500 and Panathinaikos ended up as the world greatest club with close to 100 champions leagues.
