Hectic said it ha to be practical. If I wait a few years they might kill themselves off, unless there's a nuclear war, hyenas probably won't.
No, I said the death has to be practical depending on the potential amount.

For example;

Animal: Siberian Tiger
Method: Using the power of my mind I will stop their hearts.

this is incorrect.

Also, a flaw from both of you has been the inability to go for the all-out answer. Look at the last question about mallets and wheels, there isn't enough 'give a feck, I'll have both' type answers. I mean, that's fine if you are giving great, serious answers as an alternative, but the answers received are generally just as retarded. I think TB has been closer to this mindset at times, as we've seen in his moon question, and more recently his apology. It's useless now as the remaining questions won't give you that option, but I would have scored the more outrageous answer the winner, if either of you had really tried for that approach.

For the next 15 days, Liam must face his strongest opponent yet.

Himself.

Does this seem like it might make a nice first question for Liam...

You are engaged in an epic battle, testing your intelligence, your wits, your very ability to think. This battle has been known to destroy lesser men. The consequences of failure can not be measured by the human mind, complete mental obliteration. Your opponent is one designed from birth to be the perfect weapon to be used against you, he will know your every move, he will know your thoughts as you think them, sometimes before, he will often be one step ahead of you, though it is unlikely either of you will realize it.....that opponent is YOURSELF. In this competition, how will you outsmart/outthink yourself?

This might be too general a question though......

Liam vs Liam.

There are bonus points up for grabs here Liam, and you can exploit the score while TB is on his adventure. The question above stands. Fight yourself.

I'm sending this up as some promoted newbies have requested an update since leaving. I'll bring it back down at some point tonight so Liam can start playing against himself.

butterfly effect thing (I haven't seen that film either sine you asked.).
Yeah, you really should have before answering... always a tricky question time travel. Like Lastwolf said, the death of Franz Ferdinand was the straw that broke the camel's back. If that didn't happen, something else would have.

Lastwolf has been brilliant in this thread. Noticed him before I went up and he still continues to make great remarks.

TB achieves a state of nirvana by licking batteries for hours on end.
 and as for TBs response... he did sort of well considering it looked like he knew nothing about the book whatsoever.

You know, I really wanted to nominate Lastwolf as most underated poster in the Newbie-award, cause he's actually pretty damn cool
I agree with that. Can't remember who I had named for that award now..

Ok i am really sorry for this delay.
Don't know what has happened but i suddenly find myself little too lazy.Just a little while ago i was about to post something in the other thread
which was little lengthy.I had all the ideas everything but somehow i just didn't.I just am getting little too lazy.
Is there any winter effect? i don't know
So i am writing all this which all of you have no interest in just to warm myself up, since we all know that cmo is serious business and i must be prepared before even thinking of attempting to answer something worthy of cmo entry.

So now i'll try to answer this.Forgive me if after all this shit you get even more shit.
Here we go.

I will choose squared wheels over mallet.
It would be very hard without legs, i know.
Specially because i won't be able to play footy anymore. Many of you won't know but i think i am pretty good at it.Obviously i am not a regular player so i'll be shit fitness wise.
I only play during summer and on Sundays.
I won't be able to walk normally , i'll feel weird all the times.I won't be able to change gear of my bike so it would be hard. But still i think its no way near how much i will lose if i chose mallet hands.

Atleast i'll still be able to walk.I don't use my leg fingers for anything important and i can still do basic things with my legs eventhough with difficulty.

But losing hand would be just terrible.Touch.I don't think you can replace the feeling of touch.I mean you don't use your legs to feel anyone's flesh but you do use your hands for that.
Plus unlike legs finger you use your hands finger for so many things.I won't be able to write (that would be just terrible).I won't be able to type, won't be able to play games.

I know you guys are waiting for the wanking part.Yes you are right.Your hand is as important as your penis during sex if not more important. That is just 2 to 18 minutes to be used organ.
I mean penis is as important as anything but you still want your hand filled with boobies. What would you do with mallet there?Just think ffs
Plus when you are alone and you have good collection of porn how are you going to achieve the state of fulfillment? Are you going to smash that thing with a mallet in hope of an erection??are you.No ffs

Hands the fingers moving back and forth you can't replace it.Just imagine ffs.

You now leave the sex part but still if you are with your partner wouldn't you want to feel her face with your hands??
Plus chances of getting a girl would decrease more in mallet hands case.
I know in such a situation girls aren't the most important thing but still you would always need that.
How are you going to eat?Yes you'll need help in almost everything.Touch is one of the biggest gift given to man.
You can't wank using you legs finger okay you can but you'll have to be real gymnastic and mentally sick.
There would be problem in even showers. You won't want to touch your face yourself again.
You will have problem with everything.

I have my own tagline and now with more than 5k posts, sometimes new users in ff may even mistake me as some scout.I get there respect.

Thanks for bringing this back up Hectic. It was a great read. So is TB's ban permanent or temporary? I read what he said on the last page but still wasn't that clear.

TB was doing so well in the game too (or rather, Liam was doing so poor) but then TB fell apart about halfway through and Liam's brought it right back.

It's made for a great finale with them both so close. Hopefully one of them won't do a Dewey and vote themselves as the loser.

TB's ban is temporary and requested, he will be back on the 15th.

Ah, that's good. Liam v Liam sounds great

:lol:Hectic, mate, what the feck is going on in this thread? And where did you manage to unearth some of these gems of posters? I must visit the general forum more. I must have got a batch of Kent Lights with something in them.
The newbies this summer was great: Obstacle, Dewey, TB and Liam (Liam's not that bad in the football forum but he's given some great answers in this thread). Got no idea who they'll find for CMOv3 though.

Liam vs. Liam?!? It'll be a fecking bloodbath.

Man... I miss seeing TB's incredibly wierd formatting style on a regular basis.

Also, loving Burrow's new (highly accurate) tagline.

Seems so, but it has happened earlier when they asked him to log in and out for a day just to check if he was, good for him if he has been this time. :)

Well, they sort of picked themselves. Not so much volunteering, more like a willing sacrifice.

Read the thread from start to finish, some of the funniest posts I've ever seen are in here. Say whatever you like about Liam or TB but they made this insanely entertaining.

I'm going to edit out the first 10 pages so it is easier to read and understand for newcomers. It will start with from the first question.

Bang on.

Does this seem like it might make a nice first question for Liam...

Firstly, I'm certain you posted this Hectic, what happened?

Secondly, is this answerable?

I'm thinking to either think one thing to myself, and then at the last second do something different, just to fool him (Deweyism).

Or, I'd consider taking my own life. Drowning, since you ask. This should provoke one of two reactions. One, he'll be utterly baffled, and walk away, confused, at which point my natural will to live will bring me above the surface. He'll be long gone, and I will win. Or alternatively, he'll copy me, and we'll just call it a draw.

Third option, is to just do things instinctively, without thinking. That way he won't know what I'm thinking, so I can, just, do stuff, you know.

I don't know, I wanna new one.

It's about categorically destroying two young men's self-esteem until they are rotting husks of their former selves. For the sole reason, that it's fecking hilarious.

I hope to god, none of your answers are serious.

I'm from Antarctica, that's why I'm always on TB's side.

A pregnant woman leading a group of people out of a cave on a coast is stuck in the mouth of that cave. In a short time, high tide will be upon them, and unless she is unstuck, they will all be drowned except the woman, whose head is out of the cave. Someone has with them, a stick of dynamite. There seems no way to get the pregnant woman loose without using the dynamite which will inevitably kill her; but if they do not use it everyone will drown. What should they do, and why.

There 'seems' to be no way, which could mean that there is a way. The first thing that comes to mind is that you mentioned that her head is out of the cave. Shout for help? She's on the coast, she's in a cave, and she's leading a group of people, which infers that this could be part of some sort of tour? If so, someone should realise something isn't right when they're not back after however long it's been. They may go to the cave, and try and free them from the outside, much easier.

But if none of this is possible, the only option would be to use the dynamite. In fact, I doubt there'd be too much of a choice. If there's a good number of people that are going to die, it only seems fair that the majority should go free. Also, they have the power to decide. They can all say, 'look, we don't much fancy drowning today, in a bit love.' That is, unless they're all feeling particularly friendly that day, and will all sacrifice themselves for her.

Also, if they decide against using the dynamite, she'll die anyway, right? If not, how will she get free, other than someone finding her? If someone is going to find her, there's no reason why they can't do it before the dynamite is used.

- 'heeeeeeeelp!'

- 'Did you hear that Captain?

- 'heeeeeelp!'

- 'Aye, I heard...there it was again, what is it?'

- 'It appears to be a womans head protruding from a cave on the coast, what should we do?'

- 'Proceed as normal, she's shouting for help, someone in that cave knows what he's doing.'
