Test cricket is as competitive as I ever remember it really. In the last few months we've had England win in SL, India win in Australia, New Zealand win in UAE, SL win in South Africa.
Chuffed for Sri Lanka, especially after the horror show that was their Australia tour.

This is interesting and blow to SA cricket. Duanne Olivier who has been looking great in test matches has been signed up as a Kolpak player for Yorkshire and therefore cannot play international cricket during the period he plays for them.

As a Derbyshire fan it's a blow for us too! Presumably if he's signed for a team that play at a Test ground we couldn't offer him a high enough salary and he's gone elsewhere.

It's normally said that players can earn 3× as much on a Kolpak.
There's quite a few according to this list but more of a surprise as he was looking exceptional in test cricket.
