Didn't replace Greenwood either. Now our attack is beyond shite like our Midfield
If Ronaldo goes we will have lost the guy you mentioned, ronaldo, cavani, Lingard, Pogba, Matic, Mata from our attack and midfield.

Our options will be:

Attack- Rashford, Sancho, Amad, Pellestri, Garnacho, Martial,

Midfield- Bruno, Fred, Mct, Gardner, Hannibal, Donny

Maybe we get Eriksen and De jong to add to the midfield but it still looks dire up top.

Yeah let's call a spade a spade, that team and those options even with FDJ and Eriksen are beyond shite.

That's not the team of a club trying to improve.

The reaction Ronaldo got on here when he was about to sign for City last year and now that he's gone on strike is the kind of stuff you'd have expected to see even when he left for Madrid the first time and not Viva Ronaldo chants and fanboying. He treated us like a joke back then and he's done it again. He's as selfish as players can get.

This is for all the United blind Ronaldo fanboys who over appreciate the guy since forever. Rooney is 10 times the legend for this club and the same fools still give him abuse. Good riddance you selfish prima dona. Messi was always better than you

Good riddance.

Hopefully our fans stop treating him like a deity.
Not only will that not happen but they will be cheering him on with the same gusto even if he ends up with a rival PL club like Chelsea

Ah, don't worry, maybe we'll do what we did the last time we sold our top scorer. Bring Iheanacho in on loan.

Joining them wipes away clean whatever romantic 'legacy' notion he had at the club, basically spat in the clubs face twice, at the start of his prime and now nearing the end

I think he will have a even more negative impact than Lukaku did, this is not a Tuchel signing- more of a new chairman flex.

Tuchel will resign by March if this goes through.

For what it's worth.

Anyway I'm fine with him leaving as he is too good for us unfortunately. I doubt he'd skip training. It's kind of pointless

Its not only the fans, to be fair.

The only reason he re-joined us was because he had Rio and SAF on the phone begging him and obviously a fat weekly wage put towards him.

Him not in training for family reasons is one thing, but him wanting to leave again in a poor way is the issue, especially if he joins a competitor like Chelsea. Hope all his fanbois realize a few things now, but I doubt it

The club does too partially.

SAF, Evra and Rio help enable it more-so.

We need to move on. Ronaldo is in the past.

Sending him to Chelsea really puts makes things even more difficult for us in the league, we have basically no goal threat now.

So a member of his family is not well and that's why he wants to leave? It obviously makes no sense. Great PR, though.

Also there are not players on the market, only Lewandowski

The other are 2, 3rd tier level: Dybala, Scamacca, Ings etc

Ronaldo won't bother himself with what twitter fans say anyway.

People seem resigned to Ronaldo leaving, and its very possible, but I wouldn't be surprised if he stays at all. And as soon as he knocks in a goal or two, people would naturally just focus on the team again.

Would be a blow if he did leave you tbh. You're liable to be far worse as a unit with him through the course of a season.

Not going to lie, it won't be a pretty sight watching him in a Chelsea kit if this really happens.

Didnt he skip training last year for Juve too though ?
Also Ronaldo could have done this privately, rather than publicly announcing his desire to leave. I don't buy the family issues, I think he is rusing to come back to the club and will not appear on the tour.

Ronaldo deserves some space. He's lost a kid in the past few months and the very thought of having someone else in the family fall sick would be a frightening experience for a while. Very surprised people are showing very little empathy here for him being excused from training. Him wanting to leave and him not training are two different, independent and mutually exclusive events.

Same here.

He turned out only a few days after losing a child. Is apparently away because a relative is ill. There's nothing like a personal loss to put things in perspective, no matter how much money you have.

If he wants to leave, so what. He's had enough personal turmoil in his life this past few months that I wouldn't care if he retired from football altogether.

No one has an issue with him missing practice.

He happens to also hand in a transfer request at the same time? Surely if this was true, the transfer news would not have been made public?

Those comments were reported months ago - nothing to do with this current drama.

Ronaldo had apparently said he couldn’t believe things like the pool hadn’t been updated/changed since he left. Frankly he’s got a point if that’s true.
I don't think it was the pool not being upgraded. He was more concerned with the mirror next to the pool which lost its lustre and had not been changed.

There is talks of us asking for 15m….this together with 25m savings in wages….

We really should go all out for a top striker…. Can we offer 80m for Nkuku? I think he will be great m!!
