Sky Sport Italia just reporting from a spanish source (Don Balon), Cristiano is definetly leaving Madrid, not for Juve, direction Manchester United.
Well... until Di Marzio says something sure about this saga, anything can happen.

its actually amazing how during his time in Spain hes only won the league twice, quite incredible considering the goals return, yet has 4 CL's winners medals,
It's explained by the extraordinary phenomena which was the Barcelona of Xavi/Iniesta/Messi.

Romero Agresti (Tier 1 for Juve) saying that Ronaldo and Juve have an agreement in place and the transfer is close (waiting for the green light from Perez). Looks like it's actually going to happen.

They always have to throw a twist in there to keep the hype train rolling. I don’t believe it.

If he moves , Sanchez coup in January will look like a Meh deal for us. Also it could be bad for us in our bid to pursue Sandro.

Knowing United's luck, he'd come back here and be utter cack.

Probably best he goes to new pastures.

Juventus has a total agreement with Cristiano Ronaldo: 30 million for 4 years. The green light from Florentino Perez is expected to close the operation.

This. If we don't do this and not strengthen other needed areas I will be mad

These posts scream self entitlement to be honest.
If Ronaldo wanted to come to us he would do so feck him, this transfer doesn't affect us in any way.

For the past 9 years, every time Ronaldo supposedly wanted to leave we were the favourites to sign him. Now, when it seems like he definitely is leaving, we're nowhere to be seen?

What's happened to our club? One of the top 5 players in the world is available and we're too busy signing Lee Grant.

Is Ronaldo the best player in the world? No. Can he still contribute to this United team? Definitely. So why on earth are we not in for him. £100 million is nothing for a player like him in this current era of inflated transfers.

Would be an absolute joke if we don't even attempt to go for him.

The league is the bread and butter of any player, how many league goals is always a good guide to where the player is at form wise. Two five goal hauls against postmen isn't the same as a single goal away at Valencia etc etc.
So he’s had a bad season then?

He scored 16 in 22 then ended the season on 44 including goals against Barce, Ath Madrid, Valencia, Sevilla, Spurs, Dortmund, PSG, Bayern and Juve. He’s basically scored in almost every big game of the season except the final.

Don't think he would be (he's too professional to be awful) but just mean with our misfire rate with big signings.
That's upon us, totally. We have been using square pegs in round holes since long in the name of Change in Philosophy or style of play.

It would be weird after all these years of him using us as a way to get an improved contract, and of people pining for his return, to see him given the green light to leave Madrid and not come to Manchester. Think he'd do very well for himself in Italy, though.

If he turns us down then yes, but it seems we're not even interested which is utter madness

By the way Agresti is super reliable for Juve news. He's tier 1.

Juve can't pay his salary without risking heavy FFP sanctions, as his requested salary would be 4 times that of Juve's current top earner (Higuain). News outlets here in Italy are reporting that Fiat will sign a big sponsorship deal with Ronaldo to pay part of his wages, and thus circumvent FFP.
Is this allowed? And if so how is it allowed?

Would love to see him waiting 2 min for Darmian to make an overlap run just to witness him hoofing it into the roof.

4 years ? That looks too much of a contract for a 33 years old, even if he's Ronaldo.
People keep mentioning his age which is baffling to me . He is more fitter than Giggs , Scholes or Vandersar ever were. It's a steal.

It would be further proof of our decline and the joke status we have in the transfer market from getting used and abused by players like Ronaldo, Ramos and even Fellaini for new contracts to having to pay over the odds for players like Sanchez(salary wise) and Lukaku.

No it's not baffling. He can give 2 years at max peak imo but giving a 4 years contract till he reach 37 with such wage salary it's a massive gamble. He'll keep his body fit, but there's no guarantee that he'll be still scoring 40 goals a season at 37.

Yes.

And we aren’t passing on him because of Lee Grant.

By what metric are you measuring his fitness compared to the others at the same age? This post doesn't make sense.

Honestly shocked that this has got legs.

Insane decision by Juventus given his age and the cost. Madrid once again showing their ruthlessness, time and time again they move on their ageing legends instead of letting the club become a retirement home.
