Don't know if you heard the commentary before but he hasn't scored for Colombia for 5 years before today. Bangs them in for Porto though.
Fair do's didn't know that! Just know he scores incredible amounts at club level.

Another tournament where Japan are good most of the time yet end up rock bottom.
No, they were good at the Confed Cup and decent in this game, but absolutely dreadful in the first two games. Big disappointment for me.

Great goals by Colombia, especially the 3rd and 4th goals. While the Japanese are trying to play that last pass in the box Colombians will take it to the finish themselves.

Rodriguez made the difference for Colombia. Japan had to stop Colombia's 2nd goal at the top of the second half. Defense needed to sense the danger and go harder on the dribbler. Great teams have strong defenders who play tough.

Honda indirectly guilty of Colombia's decisive 2nd and 3rd goals by not making the simple pass and trying to do something complicated and losing the ball. This team was built centering Honda, so his decline means decline of the team.

Okazaki played aggressively and well, even besides the goal.

New coach and new players for 2018 please.
