Egypt should give Salah last 20 minutes. They could nick one on the break way they're playing, lack quality in final third without his presence.

Defensive midfielder Carlos Sanchez on for Nandez.

Ah Rodriguez, another of these international players who seems to have been around forever.

Proper winger at least.

Egypt are having more of the all at the moment, but without any real threat.

Maybe time to bring Salah.

Don’t know a lot about Sanchez, but he was assist King for them in the WC qualification. Hopefully he can provide something.

Nah theyll lose in the first round. They look incredibly disjointed, which isnt promising as an upset can happen against any side for teams like that. And them doing the upsets are unlikely.
They look disjointed because they're playing a game they aren't good at. In the knockouts the games become different and it will suit them imo.

Group A is just so poor. Even the best team in this group is shit.

Is it just me or does the pitch seem dry? Had the same impression of the pitch in last nights game.

Agree, Trezeguet up front is a good player too. Willing them on, I have them to win in a bet... :D

This game is looking perfect for Salah but I'm not sure I'd risk playing him
Not a chance hes close to full fitness imo. They wouldve brought him on or at least had him warming up. Big chance for what would be a huge win if he went on.

Atrocious game, looks like a La Manga-friendly on Eurosport in the summer. Uruguay have Cavani and Suarez, but without the usual bunch behind them at PSG and Barca they are not able to do much. Expect Uruguay to produce at least one big chance in the latter part of the game, they should be fitter and be able to be more aggressive when it's dying out.

This game is perfect for Salah. Egypt are catching them on the break but they lack quality. If Salah can't play 15 minutes of football then he shouldn't be on the bench. Unless he's acting as a fecking mascot.

Uruguay were much more effective when they just had Suarez dive and Forlan taking every free kick from ANYWHERE on the pitch.

If Uruguay are going to play this way they need Stuani instead of Suarez. Hes more of a threat in the box.

We don't need constant reminders of how 'terrible' or 'dreadful' the game is every other post.
