I can't imagine Qatar just losing again without a fight against a Senegal with many injuries, but they looked so amateurish in that opening game.

That's what I hate about British media, they were always going to be biased and even more so with Iran being anti-western.

Unfortunately for Wales this is a tournament too far for Bale and Ramsey and without them being good players anymore there is too little to shout about in the squad. Iran deserved it.

Yeah I don’t think Iran are great but I also don’t think they are as bad as how we made them look. England were comfortable from 1st minute and fully in control.

I know what it does. It would discouraged people from jumping with a striker if they were allowed to do it but they aren’t.

Mendy’s fall from grace rivals that of De Gea’s. Reckon Qatar could nick a draw if they’re really lucky with his blunders. Otherwise surely Senegal have too much quality..

Out of Wales's hands now. They need England to beat USA by a big goal margin and then hope that Iran lose to USA and beat England. Tough call. They're pretty much eliminated now unless England goes out of their way to do a favour for them. 2nd probably goes to Iran now if USA loses which I expect them to and Iran just need a draw on the final match day.

Mendy's career path has been an odd one. Mid table Ligue 1 keeper until his late 20s, then suddenly looked like one of the best in the world for a solid year... before being benched by Kepa.

I wouldn't call that singing -- they barely moved their lips! In any case, I'm not sure if it's appropriate for me to say I'm happy for you. I just hope this brings respite for Iranian people the world over and maybe this would include you, I don't know.
