I'll go and kill some zombies when I'm back home then. Quite excited by this game, it looks awesome - even if it's too difficult I may just go around and kill some zombies, right? It's supposed to be an open world.

Alright game, kinda short and i dont like the way everything is timed between missions.
There should be a free roam aspect instead.
Meh, o well, ill be trading it in for for Fifa tomorrow :)

I don't know why people are bashing on the time restrictions, i love that aspect of it. Makes everything seem a bit more urgent and you have to manage your time really well if you want to save everyone.

I am up to level 12 now, having restarted. Saved all (8 maybe?) but one person, too. Timing hasn't been an issue now that I know what I'm doing.

I've played it for about an hour and it's fecking amazing! So much fun, it starts slowly but then when you get to actually hammer those zombies it's great, I spent quite a fortune on it because I wanted it badly and there was only one shop offering it in Krakow but so far it looks like it was worth it!

Anyone up for some online zombie slaying anytime soon?

Right, fine. Give me your PSN ID so I can add you to my list. I'll be available today evening and possibly sometime in the afternoon tomorrow and Sunday.

Got hold of this last weekend and I was a bit disappointed by the first hour or so. Always wanted to play the original Dead Rising but couldn't be arsed getting a console. Just seems like it's going to be incredibly tedious wading through zombies whilst some useless cnut following you keeps getting eaten so you have to wade back to him.

Do the zombie hordes respawn? Would feel a bit better pressing on if they didn't because I like the idea of thinning them out and collecting all the survivors.

I healed some turd with Zombrex, then helped walk him towards the safe house. We were attacked on the way, and during the battle I managed to kill him with my nailed baseball bat.

Yeah, it's a little too easy to damage them more than the zombies do. I made the chemist run off as I kept giving her the odd smack.

Electric wheelchairs are fecking great.

It's good that they respawn, because I don't think I'll ever get bored of knocking an old lady down the escalators with a flying kick. Or knocking a whole group of zombies over and then curb stomping their limbs off as they try hopelessly to get up. It's also amazing fun to get the football and kick it at the zombies legs, you can play football with them if their legs dont fall off.

Drop a bag of marbles on the ground near a crowd of zombies for hilarity.

I;ve killed only 1300 zombies, because I keep dying on my zombie murdering sessions without saving. I got over 2500 zombie kills just driving around the train tunnels on those buggy things, but one of the people I was escorting killed me and I lost over a thousand kills!

There is indeed a story, your wife was killed in a Las Vegas zombie breakout and your daughter was infection with the virus. You now need to make money to give her the drug zombrex everyday. This leads you to Fortune City where the Terror Is Reality gameshow is taking place where big money can be won. After the event a zombie breakout happens and you are framed for the realase of the zombies. You have to spend the next 3 days trying to clear your name, waiting for the military to arrive whilst making sure you get enough zombrex for your daughter to survive, also trying to save as many remaining survivors as possible

Although it's mainly about killing zombies.

There's a storyline but the main fun in it is finding a way to slay as many zombie as possible, it's great fun though I may sound like a psycho. For the past two days first thing after getting out of bed for me was turning this game on and killing a hundred zombies - it's a ritual.

I don't have a combo card for it yet, can it be done without having one?

I can only combine a bat with nails so far, it's an amazing weapon.

I'm fecked off with this now, stuck trying to kill those two birds, which is gay, because the bosses are crap on this game. I have saved it with very little time to collect decent weapons and food and get there, PLUS the time doesn't stop until you;ve killed them both. What weapon did you lot use on them?

They are probably the hardest in the game, concentrate solely on hurting one and kiling her. I stood in the corners of the middle area where there's a little railing, wait for them their then hop over the rails and attack with ranged weapons.

I've tried avoiding their attacks but it's not the most fluid or responsive of games and I find it fecking frsutrating.

I have tried concentrating on one. What ranged weapons do you mean? The trouble is on my save I haven't really got the time to go and find/combine weapons or collect food.

I met some old lady that I was supposed to save, but she was so slow that I got frustrated and killed her with my favorite sledgehammer.

I actually think this is the best game ever.

The LMG, bought it from the pawn shop. And you should have some food shops near where you saved if it's the bathroom near the club. Other than that i just used the nail bat. I think you may have left too little time though and might just have to pray you get lucky one time.

For those two girls I just jumped on one of the sofas and they couldn't hit me properly so just beat the crap out of them, you only have to kill one of them. The final boss (before overtime) had me pulling my hair out it was that frustrating, far worse than the two girls I thought. Managed to get the S ending first time through, without really being too stretched, loads easier than the first Dead Rising.

I found them incredibly easy, probably the easiest, just shotgunned the blonde one a few times and she died.

feck sake. I'm at the TK chopper boss, but from my save point I only reach the elevator with like 40 seconds to spare. Which I didn't think would be a problem because I thought the time limit was just to arrive at the mission. But the fecker extends in to the boss fight, so the mission actually expires as I'm fighting the chopper and it just flies away, impossible to kill it that quickly. What an absolute bunch of cnuts that designed this game, seriously. There aren't even any cheats that I can find to fix this.

And I was pretty eager to finish it because I thought it was kinda repetitive, but now I have to repeat half the game, and I'll end up doing it as well. Holy feck.
