I used to look forward to deadline day and the last-minute deals, but Jim White on SSN has made it so fecking annoying to watch. The fact they have a camera on him as he enters the building is pathetic.

Where is Jim White? Standing outside of somewhere in front of something?

Maicon and Javi Garcia to City
Maicon would be such a pointless signing. Zabaletta's probably the best right back in the league with a pretty good understudy in Richards.

11PM's the deadline, right?!

I predict something big for tonight. Walcott to City along with Garcia and de Jong to Milan.

Maicon would be a great signing, he's one of the best RB's in the World.
Last couple of times I've seen him he's been a shadow of his former self.

I'd rate Zabaleta higher if I'm honest.

Chelsea will make a big signing today - someone like Hulk or Falcao I think.

Me too, especially in Twitter era.

The last day is funny, though. You know United are not going to sign anyone and you can enjoy watching that madness.

Maicon USED TO BE the best RB in the world, hasn't been that for a while now.
There's no denying his talent, but there's also no denying the fact that he's not getting any younger (or better for that mather).

5m for Maicon is pretty decent I guess. It will also validate the universally accepted "no manager should ever trust Micah Richards" pact amongst managers.

I think he's looked very good at RB.

Jordan Henderson was offered in a straight swap from Clint Dempsey. Jordan turned it down though.

This is madness.

Whilst I think it would probably be a fair swap truthfully, I agree its madness, simply because Henderson still has some potential, and thats just pissing him off in the worst way, and he's still at the club.

Youngsters need a bit of care, paying 20 million one year, swapping him out for a 10 million player the next is just going to play on his mind forever and a day now, thats poor management.

Should have just paid the 10 million for dempsey and be done with it.
