As terrible as he was yesterday (and he was bad), he still managed the best opportunities the squad had at goal. He converted the penalty (which is a big accomplishment for United these days), He played the nice pass in to Lukaku for the shot in the first half, and he had the long range shot saved by Ryan. This whole team is unbelievably bad at mustering any sort of attack.

Agree, our most promising player even on an off day, gave away sloppy possession and got frustrated but we need to build around him. Dread to think how bad we would have been without him.

Yeah, we should definitely build the team around a guy who gives the ball away 27 times against Brighton, and then basically explains this by saying he wasn't really in the right headspace.

feck it, let's give him a pay rise while we're at it.

He’d be competing for the Ballon d’Or at Barcelona, very confident of that. He knows it too. United is poison right now.

I believe in any other top tier team (bayern, real, barca, juve, city) Pogba would look as good as he did for France.
United has a way of making almost any exciting attacking player look bad for the last few years.

That is very true at the moment. He could walk right in with any of those clubs and fit right in. Unless my memory is playing tricks he seemed like a dominant force at Juve. United right now is just toxic and there just seems to be a major disconnect between players/managers/tactics..not sure what is going on.

If all the players in the world were free agents tomorrow and there was a draft to sign them, Pogba would be one of the first ten picks. Madness to even consider getting rid of him. It’s not as if he is looking average in a team playing great. He’s currently in a setup where nobody is looking good.

I will be surprised if Pogba ever has a great season for United. He doesn’t want to be at Old Trafford.

There’s no point having a Lamborghini that you can’t drive. Yeah Pogba is a top player but, despite what he says, he isn’t interested in playing for Man Utd. As a result I will be unsurprised if we ever see his best.

Seems that way doesn't it?

Its clear Pogba's had his head turned and now Raiola's doing the same stuff we've seen him do at other clubs to force the move. Pogba started needless controversy after Leicester, we've had leaks to the media about a supposed bust up with the manager. Jose deflected both. So now Raiola is going after Scholes and raising the notion of selling Pogba again simultaneously. This will again lead to the media asking more questions about selling Pogba at Friday's presser. Keeps the topic dead centre and if people think Paul doesn't want this to be the case they're crazy.

That isn't a comment of someone who wants Pogba out of United. If he was pushing for his exit, why would he hamper his plan by saying there will be sleepless night looking for a replacement? He wouldn't. Basically he is just calling out what Scholes said about him.

It's a sarcasm. "Paul Scholes should become sports director and advise Woodward to sell Pogba. Meh, as if it's going to be hard to find Pogba a new club"

Riola can try going to OT and throw some chairs around...
The only thing that'll get Pogba a move is if someone pays through the nose.. If Riola can get a great offer, great. Begging for a move on twitter will do nothing.

Raiola already setting this up for a big move. The Spanish window closes in 10 days. I do not think that even Woody would fold now, but be it the winter window or next summer, Pogba is leaving. Too much bad rap now between him and the club.

I'd be adamant about this though. I would cripple Barcelona financially by forcing them to pay nothing less than 200 million euros. No players as part of the deal. Don't want any of those crybabies saying they miss the sunshine after 3 weeks at the club. Use the money for a combo of Weigl and Kovacic who will be on the market next summer.

Pointless selling him and we'd still have the likes of Martial who are unhappy and even if we sold him too somebody else would be unhappy soon enough. It's Mouriniho who needs to go.

Honestly can't withstand this fat man of agent anymore. Feck him off to Barca for 150-200m in Jan and use the money to strengthen the squad.

Use the money? Don't make me laugh. For interest and board payments? They going to spend 150m on actual top class CBs and FBs who want to play for Mourinho? I want names.

I expect a huge bid from Barca before the deadline, in the region of £200m to test the waters. We should and will flat out reject it.

Bring a 200m offer on the table and you can both pack your shit and feck off.
And we would do what with that money? Sign an overrated SMS for £110m? Maybe Maguire as well? It's not good business to sell Pogba in this market whatsoever.

Dembele + Coutinho and they can have him.
And Dembele & Coutinho would want to come here ? Top players want to play where they can express themselves.

Pogba is not the problem, it's Jose's inflexibility. That said £150m they can have him.

Fergie was right. We should have never dealt with Raiola. Should have never bought him from the start and avoided this circus this fat agent brings around his players.

Feck him off in Jan for a giga sum of money and let us move on. It's obvious he's not going to have a long term future here whatever anyone dreams otherwise. He left once and will have no problem doing it again thanks to his agent.

I would go as far as to say that Pogba will never reach his full potential because of his agent.

Pogba is too commercial and too valuable to his agent, to worry about football.

We should never let a player dictate to the club or to the manager. A player is only a bad break away from being nobody and unwanted.

Actually wouldn't be fussed at all if Pogba and Jose are both gone by next summer.

I agree. I read it as everybody else loves Paul except for Scholes so feck Paul Scholes.

Am I still the only one who thinks this'll end with a new Pogba contract?

Funny how the unhappiness started when Sanchez became the new high earner

We'll go through a slump. Panic sign Pogba to a new deal to keeps fans/players happy. Then Pogba too will miraculously become happy at United

I interpreted those “sleepless nights” comments as it being difficult to get Pogba to transfer out because he actually wants to be here

Nah, I think he’s saying it sarcastically.

He's going nowhere this window, I'm confident of that.

Raiola is no doubt in his ear telling him he can be Messi's replacement but he's forgetting a) he's not that good and b) Barcelona will have a huge task to rebuild when he goes. He's essentially telling his client to swap one rebuilding project for another one with slightly less money available, all so the agent can line his pockets further. He will never reach the very top of his footballing potential with this guy advising him.

It does all bring me to the point where i think someone has to leave the club. If Pogba won't ditch his agent, next summer it might have to be him. If the performances don't improve, it might be Jose before then.

If someone offered us 200m for Pogba we should rip their hands off. He isn't worth the circus that he brings. Feck him and his fat agent.

If Mourinho was flirting with the idea of leaving than he can go as well. Till then, Pogba or Martial or whoever wants to act as bigger than this club and want to leave, can feck right off. None of them is worth the drama.
