honestly don’t see the problem with trying to develop him instead of spending 40 million on a backup. If he doesn’t kick on sell up and use laird the following season and so on… he’s happy to get forward and that’s what we are supposedly looking for….
the problem is he's shit

Yeah, well......based on this BEL vs POR game, let Milan take him. He isn't going to improve what we already have at RB.

A clearly better player than AWB. Selling him and keeping the one who can't pass to save his life in the name of "rebuild" would be so typical of us.

Was decent, some good moments and some average moments. Ruben Dias and Bernardo Silva were no better

The only thing Dalot can do better than Wan Bissaka is pointless step overs. He’s fecking shit. Really, really shit.

He's not very good. But then neither is having just one RB. So he might be worth having around the squad if we can't bring in someone better.

He's a good player but it's the inconsistency that really will define him. He came to United too early, he needs to be at a place where he plays 40 full matches.

A place like Dortmund as wing back he'd look world class

Legit wondering if Jose did a Bebe on us and just signed him without watching him. He’d only played about 6 games hadn’t he?

Exactly. Technically below average, not much pace or strenght, poor football intelligence, terrible defender.

Deepthroating information to Howard Nurse.

The thing is it’s a Williams situation. He’d just be a body we could use in theory. If AWB gets injured long term I’m convinced we’d stick Axel/Lindelof there anyway - we wouldn’t trust Williams or Dalot to play there.

Yeah, criticism of him is well overblown from tonight. Considering he's never played in a game of this magnitude before, thought he did quite well.

Decent performance from him tonight. Portugal overall where quite bereft of ideas so none of their players are going to look good.

Axel is likely off on a season long loan.

For a RB backup he is decent option. Rather save the funds and use it for DM.

Can't spell Mkhitaryan

I meant internationally, but point taken. Still, don't see exactly why everyone is calling him dross.
I don't get it either. He's a young 22 year old player who is obviously still developing. The need to attack him is strange.

his Milan stint wasn't something to write home about, today he was decent, not sure he would want to come back, and it seems Ole doesn't rate him, best option for all sides is to sell him.

to be fair to him, he suffered 2 terrible injuries during his first 2 years with us, that had impacted his development, he seems to be over his injuries now and can kick on but needs to go to club where he can play consistently, being backup to AWB won't do him any good.
