Both of Mings and Gradel got long term injuries almost immediately when they signed and I actually think Mings is getting back to the level he was at Ipswich. Most prem clubs were looking at him then. I think Lewis Cook and Lys Mousset can't be labelled dud's just yet, as they're very young. Brad Smith, Marc Wilson, Tomlin, etc are all very cheap additions that just didn't work.

Jordan Ibe is the real abomination for 15m pounds. Liverpool proper snake oil'ed them with that one. Not to mention Grabban, how he gets passed around clubs for so much, is beyond me.

I actually think they bought well this season, with Begovic, buying Ake and Defoe, they addressed the areas of weakness. Defoe isn't fit yet though, so we may see more of him in the coming weeks. They just look slower than last season, in all aspects of play and I don't even think Howe can put his finger on why.

I think Grabban is even worse when you think Norwich bought him from Bournemouth for about 3m, and then they bought him back for around 8m

But yeah, Howe and Bournemouth need to work on recruitment. I imagine its hard to attract players to Bournemouth due to their smaller stature, but surely they could have done better than they have.
