It is not cheating to position your body between the ball and the opposing player. He knows this and frequently gets fouled because some defenders do not. On the occasions he doesn't get fouled he goes around the player. He is brilliant and would walk into Utd's side.
I would argue he doesn't frequently get 'fouled' as such, that due the way he positions his body he buys a lot of fouls and free kicks which leaves players infuriated, as they haven't done anything wrong. He done it on Saturday at one point where he went between Pogba and Lingard, and went down and done that rolling around thing he does. Both players were incensed, and sure enough in the replay Lingard didn't touch him and Pogba actually won the ball, but the way Hazard went down and rolled about meant the ref blew for a foul.

Of course he would walk into the United team and as I said he is some player, he is just a cheat too and I can't stand how often he hits the dick and referee's blow for a foul so easily for him.

I wasn't talking about the penalty. I am talking about his general play. Refs do have perceptions of certain players, Pogba, for example is never allowed to 'buy' a free kick whereas players like Hazard and Ashley Barnes get away with it all the time.
Not only does Hazard not "get away" with it, he gets hammered on a regular basis for have the skill to wrong side players.

I know it was a penalty but Hazard drew the foul - why the hell aint he shooting when 1 on 1 with De Gea - cheating scumbug - drawing of fouls is cheating

He doesn't always get the foul and on many occasions he targeted. He is not a cheat.

Jones didn't have to make that challenge. He chose to go through Hazard and it was a bad decision.

Hazard is a fantastic player and always has been.

And I agree Jones shouldn't have dived in. I'd have backed De Gea on the 1 on 1 more than the penalty. Hazard seemed to be taking himself slightly wide, it wasn't an 100% goal not with De Gea in net. De Gea isn't brilliant on penalties.

Pogba barely touched the ball and blocked his left knee.
A bit far-fetched for me to look at that as cheating or manufacturing a foul.

Chelsea will offer him a mind-boggling contract. They can't afford to lose him.

Fair enough if you believe that. Personally I don't, I think he is a cheat.
Except he's not. He's extremely fast and agile, and when you're going past someone it doesn't take a huge contact to put you on your arse. It's also still a foul and is often extremely painful.

Try it sometime. Sprint past someone and get them to just catch you with a touch of their knee. Nothing nasty, just a little knock. Then when you pick yourself back up and stop wincing, come back and tell us about it.

In fairness I used to be able to do that, not quite so much anymore :(

And yes, of course it doesn't take much to put you on your backside. But come on, EVERY time you hit the deck it is not excruciatingly painful (unless you have a very low pain threshold). Might just be me because I play rugby too but every time I take a tumble or get knocked I know myself it is not painful, so seeing him roll about after every time he goes down just winds me up.

But he is a brilliant player and when he is in full flight he is great to watch. I don't want him to leave the premier league either, the league is much better having him in it.

I can't say anything, I get out of breath running for a bus these days.

I wouldn't put it past Hazard like any other player to ham it up a bit from time to time, I just think he gets a bit more stick than he deserves for it. He's the most fouled player in the Prem so we see him on the floor more than anyone else, and any antics are going to seem overly exaggerated by repetition. He takes some nasty hits though pretty much every time he's on the pitch, its a miracle he doesn't spend more time injured.

Missing out on this guy, is one of the biggest regrets I have for the SAF era. What a player he would have been for us.

 know the feeling man haha.

Yea of course he will exaggerate sometimes, I suppose it's because he is a rival more than anything that it annoys me when I see him doing it all the time, although I do enjoy it when he does it against Pool or City :D he does take some really bad tackles and I can't believe he isn't injured more either. For Chelsea, it is essential they keep him and as @Kostov has said above, real kick in the teeth for United fans that we weren't able to get him.

If it makes you feel any better we get to have the same feeling about KdB, Lukaku and Salah. Oh and Agüero. :houllier:

Still get upset over that! All Fergie had to do was pay the stupid agent fees (7m). But no, there was no value in the market according to Fergie. We got Kagawa instead who is not a bad player tbf but nowhere near Hazard in quality. We let a golden oppurtunity slip in the few years after Ronaldo left where we had the funds to sign top quality players but chose not to due to whatever reason.

And Silva and Toure. The list goes on!
With Agüero though it was nailed on right until the last second. In his first interview at City he even said he was glad to have come to Chelsea.

I don’t know what went wrong at the last moment, but it burns me endlessly to think how many more honours we could have won with Agüero up front instead of Torres.

Aye, I'm gutted that we didn't get that one over the line like.

He knew Jones was chasing him like a dog with a stick, all he had to do was wait and get an easy penalty

Jones did the hard work and actually managed to pressure him into a tighter angle, DDG would have saved that shot I have no doubts. Should have just tried to block him not tackle from behind. Idiot.

Should have been the player Barca went in for when they lost Neymar.

Doubt chelsea would have sold him though, like I don’t think they’d sell him now (unless Madrid come knocking and hazard puts up a stink), especially not to a domestic rival.

Yup. He is consistently one of the most prone to terrible lapses. Between him and Smalling it's like Laurel and Hardy.

They might be instinctively good defenders but tactically naive and like you said, blundering idiots. You don't see top defenders making mistakes like this consistently

Funny. Thought he started well and was pretty good after going 2 behind. Ran everywhere. Made the second goal and not much of rolling around like a fanny as per usual.

Thought he had a great game, hit the post and was constantly on the paoint.De bruyne was the anonymous one, till his run at the end to set up the goal.

Joking aside he was ok. Just don't think he will ever be on that very top tier.

Yoshida was MOTM tonight really.

He was very good, all over the pitch helping his team and linked up play. Arguably he was Belgium's best player today.

He was brilliant. Only Belgian player who turned up in the first half. Not sure what some posters are watching sometimes.

Hazard is brilliant, people who think otherwise are clueless. He did create Fellani's goal as well.

I swear everytime he plays vs us he is fantastic, makes the right decision and is both a team player as well as showcasting great individual skills. This WC he's been rubbish mostly. Wants all the glory on himself.

EDIT: Improved in the second half (as the whole team did), so here's hoping.

I don’t think he has s great relationship with Mourinho

It would be the 4th player in the same role (sanchez, rashford, martial)
