I've managed to entirely avoid the Hundred, it's been easier than I thought.

I post very sensibly in the Cricket thread - unless it's the Hundred :)

(But yes - point taken, will leave you to it).
Nah I don’t care. It’s stupid at times but I’m happy to watch it when I have free time.

Wtf are these boundaries in the women's game? 40-50m. This isn't cricket.
Entertainment factor I guess. Literally wouldn't see any boundaries if they kept them at the same distance as the mens... They do bring them in too far at times though.

England Lions won by an innings - think they've got to find a place for Brook.

From the squad they've named, I wonder could they not just drop Crawley and move Pope/Root up one...

Lees
Pope
Root
Brook
Bairstow
Stokes
Foakes
Potts/Overton/Robinson
Broad
Leach
Anderson

Ok, Pope's not an opener (neither is Crawley) but this is Baz-Ball!!

Will Jacks is a BEAST! I repeat what I said earlier, Roy isn’t even justifying a spot in the Oval side right now let alone England.

I'm expecting a good series. They look a batsmen or two light, but I can't really see this England side 'dominating' many teams yet.

Love Rabada, great bowler to watch.

How long has it been since England had some solid, reliable openers?
Pretty much 10 years to the day when Andrew Strauss retired. Cook never got a decent partner after that.

Again will have to say that was poor from Stokes to get out the last ball before lunch. Pope does look good though.

Said it earlier also but this Saffer team on pitches which are good for pace bowling will be very good. They’ve a top class bowling attack.

Nortje’s got serious pace. Rabada & Ngidi are quality too. Very aggressive fast bowling as it’s meant to be.

We're such an all or nothing side.

Is either doing something remarkable... Or abject shitness (which in itself is remarkable I suppose)

Superb from SA. That bowling attack is very good.
