There is no such thing as 'great team' playing UEL, buddy.
This is not the old UEFA Cup when you had world class players and top teams playing the competition, cause UCL had less spots for the top leagues.

I wanted Roma to win initially, mostly for Smalling and Matic, but by about the 70th minute I just wanted both teams to lose. It was pretty gruelling to watch that to the end.

To be fair they got two flukey own goals and we were missing our starting centre backs, our first choice left back and our captain for the second leg. They got ridiculously lucky in that tie.
