Villa aren’t as good as their league position suggests.

They lost home and away to usHow the feck do Villa lose to Olympiakos
Or playing Villa…Leverkusen could have scored 6 if they were more clinical or serious
It is beginning to look that way and it will be impressive. They just seem to have a determination not to be beaten. They will win the small treble without a single loss in all competitions, won't they?
Make her a drink. And give her a massage afterwards!Wife just shouted “F#CK OFF YOU IDIOT” at Douglas Luiz … could have sworn he played for Villa?
Also shouting dogs abuse at the Olympiacos players for delaying the penalty. Oh the irony?! (which I didn’t point out because I’m not suicidal)
I highly doubt they'll win the Premier League or Champions LeagueVilla just about got past Lille the other week, they’ve got a lot of work to do if they want to win anything next season.
Thought the same. Seems silly playing in that kit when a far more distinguishable one is availableSurely Olympiakos' red and white striped kit would be easier to pick out against the Villa kit than that monstrosity they're wearing!
Which is absolutely great I think. A European competition that can actually be won by a team that's not one of the typical big names.Roma had a Mourinhoesque meltdown after Karsdorp made it 1-0 but damn Leverkusen looked 3 levels above tonight. They'll get massacred in Germany too
Atalanta struggled tonight against OM, a team whose pensioner manager actually bothered to look them up and figure out what they're about, despite not having faced them 4 years ago...
Third time's the charm for the Conference. After getting Roma, Feyenoord, Fiorentina and West Ham in its first two editions, this time around it finally gets the kind of final that REALLY makes you think "Conference League" with Brugge and Olympiakos
They're 18 months on from Steven Gerrard, they'll copeVilla just about got past Lille the other week, they’ve got a lot of work to do if they want to win anything next season.
It is! The farmers league should give us all-farmers finalsWhich is absolutely great I think. A European competition that can actually be won by a team that's not one of the typical big names.
Small treble. They've won the domestic league, cup and the European competition they've been in all season (not like they dropped into it either like AC Milan). They will win the small treble without a single loss in all competitions, won't they?
What do you mean?
Perhaps the PL is not as good as we would like to think.Villa aren’t as good as their league position suggests.
2 sugars.Darlin
If so, Xabi Alonso should be knighted (by his home country of course). One could argue that getting Leverkusen their first ever title would be deserving of that. I already said that he should get the freedom of the city of Leverkusen. They will win the small treble without a single loss in all competitions, won't they?
Brugge has been doing ok in Europe these last few years by Belgian standards. Still remember our game that ended in a draw at thé Bernabéu fondlyThird time's the charm for the Conference. Maybe so but you're still farmers. Amazing city though, best thing about facing you in europeBrugge has been doing ok in Europe these last few years by Belgian standards. Still remember our game that ended in a draw at thé Bernabéu fondly
Olympiakos managed by Mendilibar who won the Europa league with Sevilla last year plus Villa have been a bit ropy the last while and lucky to beat Lille in the last round. How the feck do Villa lose to Olympiakos
Yeah him and Wirtz could be a real danger for Germany in the Euros, they get off to a good start then could see them going quite far in the tournamentThis Andrich guy is pretty handy
Olympiacos are a weird team though. They have a decent record against English clubs, including yourselves and Arsenal. The whole point of the Conference League was that big clubs in smaller football countries had a shot at being in the top 8 as opposed to the CL which is almost a closed super club shop. That said, It's still surprising how the 4th place in the PL can be made to look so pedestrian by the 4th place in the Greek league.
