You're one of the best posters here, shame to see you resorting to half-trollish posts. Ref has been poor but Atletico have been absolutely dire in attack they can't string two passes. The referee can't do their passing for them.
They are also down to 10 men which makes playing out very difficult. Unless you are Real Madrid who seem to be better with 10 men in recent years.

Atletico have nothing to offer at all. Terrible in possession.

Even then their play has been shocking, everytime they string two passes they mess it up. One more goal and its curtains, they have not come close even once. Which is very poor for a team of their quality, ten men or not.

Arsenal really need a second to take to Madrid given that they're pretty much being given a free reign to attack here.

Griezmann had a good chance in the first half though...and you are downplaying an impact of a red card.

Being down to 10 men almost guarantees a win for the team with 11 men statistically.

They have been poor ten men or not, plenty of times teams with ten men show a bit more ambition. Their passing has been very poor to non-existent. We aren't that good that they have gifted us nearly 80% of the possession this game. And I say that as an Arsenal fan.

People on here used to advocate Simeone as a future United manager. Christ on a barnacle, if you think Jose plays negative football...

Atletico happy with the 1-0 defeat

Fancy them to progress if it remains like this

Picking Simeone as future manager after JM, would have nothing to do with style of play.

Do you not remember your game vs us when we got a red?

This is a tactical change, there is a 2nd leg to play so Simeone is only committing 2 players forward and hoping they do something magical to limit the goals Arsenal get.

If Atletico committed mord numbers forward they would be much better in their build up. But would be vulnerable on counter attacks

Hard to believe you're watching a Spanish team here, let alone one second in La Liga

Think I've seen someone suggesting getting rid of Mourinho, because of the football, and going for Simeone instead.

Again, this has nothing to do with their rubbish play. I am not even sure you're watching the game, in the last 5 minutes everytime their midfielder has got the ball he has misplaced a simple pass.

Lacazette had two swipes at the Atletico player. Still no card.

They're playing 80 minutes with 10 men away from home in a European semi final, were you expecting free flowing attacking football?
