Sadly not, currently 3rd - someone in the McLaren league must be Maxing it though - 21 points with 8 correct picksMax Verstappening the superbru championship are we
Says who? It's weird as another season of this does nothing to cement his legacy despite him likely going on to break records, again.
The how is called Newey. The sport is stale. How the heck did Red Bull produce a car that feels twice as fast as the rest
Feels like a complete waste of time watching
Does he need them?Should you get extra points if you lap yourself into top 10?
There is literally no competition for him. It's easy mode and the only other championship was won by cheating. Last season Perez finished 2nd in the championship and he was dogshit for most of it. It tells you everything.Says who?
This level of driving hasn't been on display since forever, there hasn't been driver in long time who drove that flawlesly even when they had the car who lapped other drivers for three laps.

Any racing driver on the planet would rather have Max's first 3 championships than Lewis' last 3.There is literally no competition for him. You mean unlike seasons before when Hamilton was winning when competition was much better:There is literally no competition for him. It's easy mode and the only other championship was won by cheating. Last season Perez finished 2nd in the championship and he was dogshit for most of it. It tells you everything.
Bottas had almost identical numbers of wins and podiums in his first 2.5 seasons at Mercedes as Perez at Red Bull. But some will try and tell you he was a much more competitive team mate and somehow not a constant free win for Lewis.
Perhaps, but the vast majority of races are *not* in hot conditions.Still think it’s weird though that RB carved 2 holes in the top of their cars before the final practice. It might suggest future issues at other races in hotter conditions.
There is a reason nobody thunks Lewis is the greatest ever despite having all the records.
Everybody is a homer in sports. History will truly cement legacy for Lewis and Max alike. In the words of Toto: Formula 1 is a meritocracy.

The obvious difference being that Ferrari were capable of beating the Mercedes in those two seasons after Rosberg retired and had a multiple time world champion driving it. Max has nothing like that kind of competition right now in terms of competitor cars. In fact, I’d be very confident in most of the top drivers being able to win a title in that car last season. You mean unlike seasons before when Hamilton was winning when competition was much better:
lets see hamilton had championship battles for the title with Alonso, Rosberg, Vettel and Max.You mean unlike seasons before when Hamilton was winning when competition was much better:

100% disagree, OK Max won with ease today, but the racing down the grid was good, there was plenty of action and overtakes. What a boring sport
yeap totally agree
what utter crock of shit
And lost to Rosberg, lost the title to Kimi when he tied with Alonso and lost to Max.lets see hamilton had championship battles for the title with Alonso, Rosberg, Vettel and Max.
Max had had one champioship battle with hamilton in 2021 and thats it.
Racing down the grid was ok at best and when the same guy wins for months on end it's not ideal. With reliability and the car advantage (and ability advantage over his team mate) this is very dull.100% disagree, OK Max won with ease today, but the racing down the grid was good, there was plenty of action and overtakes.
Fixate on Max and yes it boring, there is so much more than Max.
Yeah he sort of threw away sympathy people rightly had for him there. Doing his best to make sure he will never be in the main team (not that he ever will be anyway).at the Ricciardo and Yuki incident after the chequered flag. Yuki really has such a short fuse.
I did not see that when it happen, you can understand Yuki's frustration, having to let Ricciardo pass, but FFS that was a stupid move.at the Ricciardo and Yuki incident after the chequered flag. Yuki really has such a short fuse.
Yeh exactly, any sliver of chance he had is gone now for sure.Yeah he sort of threw away sympathy people rightly had for him there. Doing his best to make sure he will never be in the main team (not that he ever will be anyway).
Yep completely understand the frustration, but wait till you get back to the pits and bring it up in the debrief. It's the kind of thing a rookie would do, but this is his 4th season. Incredibly stupid.I did not see that when it happen, you can understand Yuki's frustration, having to let Ricciardo pass, but FFS that was a stupid move.
It really is not. Maybe for two-three teams. The rest, who need money, have the Strolls, Mazepins, Zhous, Latifis, etc. Unless you think they actually deserved to be there on merit.

I missed that. I thought he had grown up. He wont last one week in the main team with that infantile attitude.Wait Yuki divebombed him after the flag?
Hah what a stupid way to torpedo your chance of driving the RB21
Most of Hamilton's titles were easy win, apart from one or two in which he fought with Kimi, Max(which further proofs how good Max is) and Rosberg(again, not exactly doing him favour). I don't remember him winning against Alonso, or am I missing something?lets see hamilton had championship battles for the title with Alonso, Rosberg, Vettel and Max.

The title at McLaren…?Most of Hamilton's titles were easy win, apart from one or two in which he fought with Kimi, Max(which further proofs how good Max is) and Rosberg(again, not exactly doing him favour). I don't remember him winning against Alonso, or am I missing something?
I don't see how losing the championships you mentioned is the argument for Hamilton here? I am sure Max lost few already.
Max is young, he will have his battles, he started his career by winning the championship against one of greatest drivers of all times in arguable weaker car, when he is 35 or 38 he will probably have won tightwr championships too.
They both lost it against Kimi? The title at McLaren…?
Anyway, I hate this debate. You don’t need to criticise the other driver to praise the other one. Both are generational talents in my book, and the one you think is better is generally the one you prefer.
I’m talking about 2008 sorry got confused. But in 2007 as a rookie to tie with Alonso who is still widely regarded as one of the best on the grid is some achievement. They both lost it against Kimi?
I agree with the second part, for me Hamilton is still easily the better driver since he's done it over longer period though.
