would absolutely love it if they went out to an offside goal!

After going 4-1 and a man down, Coventry have made it 4-3 against Wrexham and are pushing for a fourth with ten minutes to go.

Game is showing how weak the rest of the Newcastle squad is still.

Howe trying to be too clever, was no need to rotate with no European football.

Might not be the worst thing for Newcastle in their pursuit for top four

Laughed at that little chorus of ‘We all hate Leeds scum’ from Wednesday fans as Wood skies it

If Newcastle lose this hopefully it triggers a big drop off in form

Chuffed for Wrexham. First time in the 4th round for 20-odd years.

Wouldn't mind them getting a nice home tie against a PL side (as long as it's not one of our rivals, as that'd be a bye to the next round :wenger:).

It helps them. Less matches can focus on getting top 4. Meanwhile we have the Europa, FA and League cup.
True but if they are to lose this then the hope will be that it has negative effect to their momentum and form in the league

No idea why Newcastle wouldn't go full strength here. They're not playing in Europe and they haven't won a trophy in 60 years. Just go for it.

Winning games creates a habit.

It'll set doubts in, and pressure will grow on them.

If you're a competitive club you want to be winning things.

Probably a mix of under estimating a league 1 opponent, plus having a quarter final cup game midweek.

Ref was desperate for Newcastle to score. Entertaining game, either way.

We could have done with Newcastle at least going to a replay there. Can focus on the PL now.
