He certainly was very good and sadly missed.Armfield was the Ying to Greene's Yang.
Easily the best I have ever heard. Cannot believe he hasn't been mentioned more but he retired in the mid-1990's I think (1994 WC Final was his last game?).Brian Moore. (RIP) cant believe its 20 years since he passed. ITV legend.
Where is he these days ESPN?I agree with Bower, was not surprised when he got poached.
You know how during matches you always think certain commentators are biased against United especially if we're losing. But after you realize they're just doing their job.I don’t think there are very many really insightful co commentators out there and he likes United so he gets a pass from me. I can’t stand jenas, he drives me mad.
You could just imagine some mad professor somewhere cloning him in terrifying numbers.Jenas is everywhere. The guy's fecking multiplying.
It's as though nobody has the heart to tell him.Ingham or Drury, Tyler was good but he's gone on to long just like Motson did
Yeah he seems to do not only their Premier League coverage but most leagues they have.Where is he these days ESPN?
He did the ‘98 World Cup as well. His voice carried a lot of gravitas and you associated him with the games where the stakes were highest.Easily the best I have ever heard. Cannot believe he hasn't been mentioned more but he retired in the mid-1990's I think (1994 WC Final was his last game?).
I like Ray. I don’t watch any La Liga so the only time I get to hear him talk is on the SiriusXM football show in the mornings.Ray Hudson
Good shout.Tim Caple for his commentary on obscure European midtable clashes, Kevin Keatings for La Liga
Never knew Tim Caple's name so I just googled it and you are spot on, he is really good. I feel like he also used to do a lot of random tournaments like u21 Euros and stuff that would be on Eurosport.Tim Caple for his commentary on obscure European midtable clashes, Kevin Keatings for La Liga
