How much hate is there in here? There's one comment in the op that's not exactly horrendous vitriol. People looking to argue by thinking they must defend someone's honour after a fairly moderate comment is more strange and rampant on this forum.

I watched him very many times at OT, and he did a job when needed to. I think the negativity is due to the association to Moyes. If Phil Jones can get a 4 year contract who is just as 'night and day' performance wise, then I am struggling to see why Fellani's ability gets destroyed every time his name is mentioned.
Lovely sentiment to kick off this thread. Players who've given the club less have gotten worshipped on here.

Selling Fellaini was not the problem, selling him mid-season was.
He just announced he quits the Belgian national team. He’s had a fantastic run for us and by definition a great career. All the best big Fella, you’ll be missed!

He's been a great player for us, in arguably our golden era. We'll miss his presence. Always gave everything, scored a good number of goals and seemed to be well liked among his team mates as well. A model professional in my opinion.
